Lol, nice.

But I ALWAYS try to replace pay walled links with archive links, even for posts that aren't mine.

Be nice if Lemmy had a bot for this, with a list of known pay walled sites.

You can automatically fetch one when posting with the native web ui

Sync doesn't have it while posting however you can easily view an archive.org page of any link by longpressing.

I have a Macrodroid macro tied to a shortcut that sends the regular link to archive.org, so it's a little easier.

I haven't worked out how to have it do all the work, yet, unfortunately, so I still have to copy/paste manually.
