Also this skirt is a little big for me, size 9-10 it says but it sits on my hips. I would rather it hang out at my waist, what's a good way to tighten the waistband?
What kind of waistband is it? Is it elastic?

You can tighten elastic waistbands by seamripping the waistband open, cutting the elastic inside so that it fits you, and then sewing the waistband back up. Kind of like this. Handsewing works perfectly well for this. I tightened a pair of pants with an elastic waistband and honestly it doesn't look perfect, but I'm okay with that because I doubt anyone is inspecting waistbands when they meet people.

Most of my hair has stopped or the hair is blonde bar some around the shins thankfully though but it is handy having black tights so you can be slack with shaving. Especially handy because I go months without shaving sometimes
