MODERATORS
I had a feeling something like this would happen. The right jumped on the "it was a radical leftist that did it!" almost instantly. Democrats made the same mistake with the Vegas shooter, assuming it was done by a conservative nutjob, but actually just an apolitical psychopath.
I've learned to never assume political affiliation when I hear about these things happening because someone on the right is just as likely to be the perp as someone on the left for the same reason.
Immediately saw that take on Facebook by some guy. Quote was “first they try to arrest him, then they try to JFK his ass, imagine voting for Biden clown emoji spam”
People are far too quick to make assumptions, and are even faster to rage. Can’t help but feel like we’re doomed due to a hopeless future / social media.
As things go, it is kind of lucky that he was registered as a Republican. Imagine how much worse it would be had he not been registered as such 😬
I'm not looking forward to how much more yikes this timeline can get.
Yeah cuz all those registered Dems have a history of going on shooting rampages....oh wait...
The not only jumped on it, but "identified" the shooter as "Mark Violets, a known Antifa extremist!!!111".
