I started reading last year, mostly productivity stuff, but now I’m really looking to jump into fiction to unwind after a long week of uni, studying, and work. I need something to help me relax during the weekends without feeling like I’m working.

I’d love some recommendations for books that are short enough to finish in a day but still hit hard and are totally worth it. No specific genre preferences right now. I'm open to whatever. Looking forward to seeing what you guys suggest. Thank you very much in advance.

It can be whatever, but has anyone ever experienced a moment or moments that has happened to them that defies one's expectations so wildly that they cannot reasonably define it beyond stupid dumb luck?

I still play this scenario out in my mind years later as I am still somewhat in disbelief that it actually happened and I walked away without any injuries.

On Earth, the cardinal directions are straightforward. The arrow on a compass points to the nearest magnetic pole. You can then use it to travel anywhere on Earth.

In space, the idea of anything being “central” enough to be used as a “North” (since the universe has no center) or being fixated enough to not somehow pose issues is more convoluted.

If you were a pioneer of space exploration, what would your “North” be?

Many different sites have many different ways of implementation and many people seem to have their most opinionated ones.

The feature I want to see is the "blocked score" where it shows how many people blocked a user or a community. And the rankings from the most blocked user/community to the least blocked user/community. If there are too many, then just display the top 10. Maybe add some special icons for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. 🥇🥈🥉

When I mean "hardest" "video game", I mean whatever game that you find objectively more difficult than all other ones on the market, as long as it's a video game. I guess exposure to different genres/types of games can influence the answer to this question a lot so... Hence I was curious about your rationale.

D-phenylalanine (enkephalinase inhibitor)

Interesting substance, its one of the few dextro (right-spinning optical isomer) amino acids that you can process or something.

I think its fascinating because its purportedly an ~~endorphin reuptake~~ enkephalinase inhibitor? or something so its potentially quasi-opioidergic. I'm not sold on the notion its legit but its definitely a provocative idea.

I've been thinking about upgrading my electric toothbrush since my current crappy one is basically on death's door after a couple years of use. Is there like a toothbrush equivalent of a Toyota Hilux I should know about?
