Thats our monetary policy. People must consume more every year to create more inflation, as technology actively reduces the price of goods.

If goods get cheaper we have deflation, they create more money supply via lower interest rates, and the price of inelastic shelter gets bid up, and asset holders receive a value windfall until prices rise. Which is why we are at a higher price to income ratio than 2007.

People born closer to the gold standard are richer, they got in when currency wasnt tethered to consumption.

I'd take the taco, and I wouldn't even say thank you.

Was recommended this because I love Final Fantasy 5, but it was just a terrible experience. The quests felt like I was playing an mmo they were so boring and uninspired, and the classes and skills all sucked.

Was I just not giving it a fair shake, does it eventually get better, at the moment I can't see how anyone enjoys this.

I'm looking at making some roasted purple yams that I tried at an asian supermarket, I was wondering how they were so chewy and delicious. Do they normally have additives, like some kind of marinade or something that make them so tasty, or are they just naturally that good with standard roasting?

Definitely don't use open source software like Signal to communicate. Use a trillion dollar corporations promise of privacy like WhatsApp instead.

We should all get Signal as well. If you don't have it you'll probably be surprised how many of your contacts do.

If your system relies on censoring opposition to it then its probably not very good.

The web browser is the future, especially for a crappy document editor and spread sheet.

Hes got more Austrian economists/monetarists plans coming. Project 2025 limits the money supply growth dramatically, supposedly in order to prevent asset bubbles in areas like housing.

Project 2025. The goal is to remove all tariffs and other limitations against the US.

Canada for instance has laws on antibiotics for dairy, foreign ownership for banks and telcos, various things like that. India has tariffs on everything.

The document outlines crazy things like capital punishment and a border wall, its clearly Trumps handbook. It's all in there.

China can buy our housing to rent it back to us, but we can't buy their EV because other companies won't make as much profit. Great trickle down.
