Same as they always have. It's fast. You can grab taco bell in a flash compared to even the best run diner or cafe. And you don't have to sit around with a bunch of strangers that are essentially walking disease vectors to do it, unless you want to.

The draw of fast food joints has never been primarily about the food quality, or service. Yeah, you'll likely pick the place that has what you consider better food, and avoid shit service, but that's a different thing.

Even joints that pretend to not be fast food (like chikfila) only pull a small portion of their consumers on the food primarily. They might draw some customers away from other fast food places, but not from sit-down places like you're talking about

Ngl, that looks like a fun group. Back at that age, seeing that many boys smiling and getting along long enough for a picture was not realistic at my school lol.

Drapes, even if they're always pulled back, will reduce the sterility of the windows.

Die? It's not going to die any time soon, on a corporate level.

It's already dead in the ways that made it worth using.

Well, yeah, but they're all cunts ;)

Well, I doubt things will get so far as to require such skills be needed. But I never doubt the human capacity for evil, and that means we all have to decide exactly how far we'll go to stop it when it comes. Me? I'm too old and beat up to go looking for trouble, but if it comes my way, I'll do what it takes.

Here's to such things being a paranoid fantasy.

Ever hear of the pink pistols?

Find a local branch. Just in case.

I dig that. Expressive, but still open for the viewer to find their own path through the image.

The double meaning works in English quite well.

Eh, you can't rely on votes made, unfortunately. Too many people use it to disagree for it to be a sign of an opinion being deemed not unpopular, or vice versa.

Fwiw, I agree that this is currently unpopular, though I disagree with it and my vote was up.

My disagreement is in the colloquial usage of idiot vs a stricter usage. Old school, idiot was a term to indicate functional intelligence, or rather the lack thereof. Now, it has come to mean someone either making poor choices via bad thinking, or someone that's ignoring any thought at all

Musk -definitely- fits the looser usage. Not specifically because of twitter, it is reflected in all his business decisions of the last decade. Twitter, he isn't making decisions, he's following someone else's plan, and that's the decision he made.

I don't think his actual iq is relevant tbh. You can be a genius (and he isn't) and still fail to use that. He makes poor use of what brains he does have, which makes him an idiot overall.

You can feel free to handle your pronouns however you want. That's your choice, and I have no beef with that. You said you're essentially venting with this post, so my interpretation that you were seeking some degree of understanding as to why people react poorly to your choice was incorrect, so there's really little else I can say.

Sorry to have wasted your time.

The only thing I can say at this point is that you're going to continue to have problems with people while you continue using grammar that's so far off of the way everyone else does. It comes across as a troll attempt rather than a genuine thing.

Bumblefoot (sh.itjust.works)

Well, it happened. We have a bird with bumblefoot.

So I've been looking at what needs to be done. All the home treatment options are within my skill set from doing human wound care as a nurse's assistant.

But should I do it is still a question. All the online stuff seems to be biased purely in favor of that, and while it seems to be true, I can't help but want to make sure it isn't malarkey.

So, any of you folks have any input? For it, against it, or specific preferences as to which methods to use?

Again, I've handled similar situations with humans, including the removal of deep "kernels" or roots from cysts and abcesses, so I know I can do the job right, I'm just wanting to make sure I should do it myself rather than have the hen dealing with the added stress of travel and the vet visit.

Because everyone should hear this at least once

This may be the sickest cover of the decade. There's so much funk in there that the room you're in will stank. Just bloody amazing track.

Patrick is the cousin I cook vegan food for. This is his favorite.

2 tablespoons olive oil.
1 medium onion, diced large.
1 clove garlic minced- or 1/2 to 1 tsp garlic powder.
1 or 2 bell peppers, red, yellow, orange or (ugh) green.
1 large or 2 medium zuchini. 1 (15-oz) bag frozen prediced butternut squash 2 tbsp chili powder.
1tsp cumin. 1tsp black pepper.
1 heaping tsp paprika, smoked being a plus.
1 (16-oz) can kidney beans, drained.
1 can black beans, drained.
2 cans tomato sauce.
1 cup fresh cilantro leaves, or parsley if cilantro is soap to you.
1 medium jalapeño pepper, seeded and finely diced, or 1/2 can adobo.

In 6 qt pot, add oil. Sweat onions until tender. Add garlic if using minced and cook until fragrant. Add zucchini and saute until zucchini is barely tender. Add seasonings , squash, beans, and. simmer 15–20 minutes, stirring occasionally, or until hot. Ready to serve. However, this can be done in a crock pot for up to about 2 hours if necessary for other food prep.

Best served in bread bowls, but you definitely want some good crusty bread, or some corn bread to go with if you serve in regular bowls.

This can be done as non vegan, but even as a meat eater, this stuff is better without. The textures of the butternut and zucchini disappear when I've tried adding chicken.

The recipe is modified from an old Publix recipe that I can't find online currently. The original is pretty amazing on its own, but I've tweaked it for my cousin over the years, and he says he prefers this version, so that's what I went with. I do have the original saved in my recipe manager app if anyone wants that; it uses more frozen veggies, and is missing some of the seasonings.

Miss Jamie has some serious range in what styles she does. This is more on the pop end of things and she's killing it as always.

As the title says, a samsung tablet got updated, and now refuses to allow an older app that was working fine before the update to launch or do anything other than pop a toast saying it was built for an older android version.

While there are other app options, none are the right fit.

So, I'm hoping there's a way to make the app work anyway. It's the Swype keyboard.

Any help would be appreciated.

Edit: solved!

As [email protected] said, there is a version on xda that works, as long as you only need the basic language it comes with. There is a way to make the language packs work, but it is supposedly fiddly.

Here's [https://xdaforums.com/t/any-way-to-run-swype-dragon-keyboard-on-android-14-on-pixel-6-pro.4640113/#post-89243411](http://www..com/ the link )

Balls out!

Trust me, it's worth a listen despite what the initial thought might be.

Fucking hell! Is it too late to add this to the hype list for 2024?

This is next fucking level shit right here, and I have to fucking wait to hear more? I dunno if hype isn the right word.

I know I'm going to catch a little hell for them lol.

But fuck me, Courtney with her ethereal clean vocals and bestial growls is a force. Thing is, it takes one fucking great band to hold up to a voice like that.

This is the first song I heard of theirs, though it was The one take version rather than the album/video version.
