You can use an Armor-X Pro attachment to add gyro motion aim and 4 remappable buttons to an Xbox controller. Gamers are liberals and don't like advancing their techniques and skills. If you're feeling fancy you can pair a G7 Pro to a Brook Wingman XB3 to get motion controls to a hall effect controller but it's a bit overkill. Xbox doesn't officially support these add ons so they might stop working eventually. The closest official thing on Xbox would be a 6 button razer controller but no motion aim so it's not nearly as big of a change. You can also use the DarkWalker Shotpad, a track pad and keyboard combo controller with gyro to mouse that only works with games that officially support m&k but it's in the shape of a funky handheld controller.
I've since moved to an original Steam Controller with dual trackpads + gyro and 8-12 remappable buttons (potentially infinite) layered under trackpad clicks (trackpad to virtual d-pad mode switch + maybe an action layer) and trackpad touch activated mode-switches for my ABXY buttons.
I used a much simpler control scheme in dark souls (click movement trackpad for dodge and click camera trackpad for light attack) and I was shocked at how much easier it was than the original control scheme.
If you're on PlayStation definitely try official gyroscopic assisted aiming on HellDivers 2, Call of Duty or some other games with official support. Gamers are resistant to change and it makes them stagnate, my friends are obsessed with running meta builds and I can still pass them a lot of the time because I'm still willing to learn new ways to play.
Literally a Wii Remote is a better way to aim than dual sticks. I would literally use those new motion controllers from the Steam Frame if they worked.
Nintendo can't find the sliding scale between fash Samus gleefully participating in ultraviolence in Metroid Dread and Samus having having to ask her father for permission to wear the Varia suit after being melted half to death in a lava filled cave
it feels wrong to have someone talk in a contemporary manner in a sci-fi game.
New Star Trek 🇺🇸

That's way different, basically sexual harassment

It seems a bit racist because it is a racist stereotype like owning a pitbull or talking loudly in public spaces
From my experience it's mostly white people that complain about it, same with smelling food or eating on public transit
Meanwhile westerners refuse to mask and can kill you, which is much worse
It seems like it's targeting people that don't have a PC or since a lot of Steam users already have a powerful PC this would be their secondary PC for the living room or for their partners / families. Since Xbox is trying to charge $30 a month now any way to escape a monthly subscription will be getting more appealing
Xbox is dying and it looks like this is basically perfect for getting those people into Steam instead (especially considering how good this will look compared to the $1500 Xbox 6)
The steam deck's power for me has been less of an issue because low latency streaming from a main PC has gotten incredibly good (and when there's really well optimized games like BG3). They added HDR to remote play recently and it looks amazing, especially at 90fps.
Strategy wise it feels like Valve is setting a floor for 3rd parties that will release more powerful Steam Machines (like Steam Deck to Lenovo Legion 2) and potentially trying to cap developer excesses like Borderlands 4 expecting people to have 5080s at the minimum 🤢

Looking for help, how do I ground myself and make it through a bipolar episode (mixed state)? I feel like I'm destroying my life and don't want to make it any worse

Does anyone know about good full open source period trackers for Android
Preferrably something
- On F-Droid
- Works offline
- Has good prediction features for different parts of the cycle

Edit: it would also be cool if you could add notes or if it has mood tracking

Don't need to press, freeze or do corn starch
Get extra firm tofu
Tear into small half-nugget sized pieces and throw into large bowl. Don't be concerned about the tofu crumbling, those tiny pieces will be cooked as well and crisp up really nicely.
In the bowl season with salt, pepper, cooking oil, msg and rub it in. You can eat raw tofu, I eat a piece to make sure it's seasoned well.
Give nonstick pan a small layer of cooking oil and set heat to 5 or 6 if your pan can handle it. The tofu is not being deep fried and will absorb most of the oil in this frying process.
Once oil is hot throw in the tofu and cook until crisp on bottom, flip and crisp each face as well. The cooked surfaces should feel crispy on your spatula. You can flip and crisp faces multiple times to avoid burning.
Once it feels almost done (and at this step the tofu should have absorbed a majority of the initial cooking oil) add some vegan butter on to the pan, about 1 teaspoon
Sprinkle some more seasonings i.e salt, msg, pepper, they'll absorb alongside the vegan butter.
Flip and move around the pan until it feels crispy and absorbs the butter and remaining cooking oil.
Serve with seasoned rice for example with rice mixed with Mang Tomas which can be found in the international aisle or Asian grocery stores (the North American version is vegan, it's basically a Filipino sweet instant gravy in a bottle) or put it into vegan instant noodles like Indomie Mi Goreng or Ichiban Chow Mein Yaki Soba.
You can also dip it into Mang Tomas or a sweet agave-garlic (like honey garlic) dipping sauce
I eat tofu multiple times a day, I used to freeze the tofu and doing the fancy corn starch frying, but I found it to be unnecessary and too time consuming. If you learn how to get a good crisp, the water evaporates and the tofu will absorb the oils/vegan butter/sauce you used in cooking. MSG and vegan butter makes a huge difference. This method can be done in around 30 minutes to an hour and only makes 2-3 dishes.
You can get more elaborate with it but this is the baseline method that I use to cook the tofu.
Here's a photo of my method, in this particular one I did a hybrid of slicing the tofu with a knife and tearing. It reminds me a bit of Filipino lechun.
