I know it's not really the point but I'm gunsta be a buzz kill.

We are also in an echo chamber. And we should admit that to avoid becoming like the libs.

But there is a crucial difference: Our echo chamber is directed at empowering people (yeah and memes and stupid shit but you know what I mean) And the liberal, conservative too for that matter, echo chambers are directed at boot licking.

And I guess if an echo chamber encourages critical thought and distrust of the current powers that be, that's probably also a bonus.

You see, we do our horrendous acts of imperialism in the name of capital elsewhere, and then we are 100% ignorant of the fact. It works out great!

I don't know, but my gut says better propaganda

This is the real answer. When we are stressed, depressed, anxious, and feeling hopeless, we can either turn inwards and retreat from society, or we can lean into our friends, family, and community.

If you have no community, now is the time to build it. A lot of liberals will be desperate, and that means it's a great time to shake off the lies of individualism (we are all individuals part of a community) and develop the truth of community. Otherwise this cycle will continue the way it always has.

See this is what we need, an unwavering commitment to grow the movement

Ohh 100%, but this is an American election thread so I wanted to keep it firmly within the realm of utopianism.

I want Ukraine to negotiate with Russia, and form an agreement that ends the hostility and has Ukraine joining BRICS. It would give me a good chuckle

You know how the US government will get rid of progressive movements by absorbing them? ( I don't know what that's called). They pay lip service to BLM as an example, until it's diffused. It seems like the Republicans have successfully done that to the Democrats, by being endorsed by the Democrats and all the other things you have said here.

So they got out maneuvered by a group of people they convinced themselves were idiots. Typical.

Edit: I've felt dirty since commenting this, so I have to say this was a joke otherwise I'll keep feeling gross from the cringe

Maybe if they spent more time in reality and less time celebrating in a state of cult-like Euphoria, they would have seen this coming

You mean when the Soviets wanted to put missiles close to the USA to stop the American Invasions of Cuba that kept failing, and let the Americans know what it felt like to have nukes pointed their way, and the Americans have been butt hurt ever since?

That's insane.... And to think one of the arguments used against mixed member proportional representation voting in Canada was that it would be too complicated...
