I swear, I don't know if it's a Catholic/Lent thing or what but I've been dragged to Italian-American restaurants and 80% of the "Vegetarian" section has anchovies. Like.. No matter how much mental gymnastics, fish is still a meat. Still an animal.

F-Droid or Obtainium for applications. Decouple and log out from the Play Store, if you need a proprietary app there's proxying through the Aurora Store.
For PS2 emulation, theres the NetherSX2/GrindrSX2 community that picked up where the AetherSX2 left off. For streaming it'll depend on what service you're using. F-Droid has alot of Youtube Frontends.
Same, and besides the crap that Windows comes with (that thankfully my work's group policies disable most of it) they took away my top taskbar. A feature in Windows for as long as I can remember and IMO looked clean and was more functional was taken away by Win 11.
Thankfully at home I can take solace in my Linux and MacOS enviroments. Wish my job would let me just run Debian or Fedora/Red Hat for work. Everything is a web application anyways.
God I hate gambling and casinos with a passion. And since I live and work near casinos I have to deal with coworkers either bragging about how much they pissed away that weekend or getting invited to go piss away money at these predatory businesses.
My partner and I play locally with an old PC as a server (we got tired of constantly needing invite codes). Its not bad and they're still adding new content and pals. We stopped for a bit around release because of the rubberbanding though.

To be honest, if I didn't live in Amerikkka and instead somewhere where Ladas were common I'd do it. Aesthetic, simple, cheap, and no built in capitalist spyware.

What are they going to be using? Hi Point or some cheap .22 hunting rifle? $500 ain't alot for firearms. I mean, it's an horrible idea that either places dangerous armed facists in schools or provides more cranking pressure on schools.
In some places in America they still count if they were 'unexcused' (ie no doctors note, even if your kid was sick) and parents taken to truancy court. I remember some friends growing up that had to fight that because they didn't have the money to see the doctor over every sick day.

Work has been so busy and crushing with our workload and being on-call. It really feels like I haven't had a good breather since the winter holidays last year.
I really want to take a few week break and drive out to some beautiful places but not enough money and my car is always breaking down. Maybe I'll go camping locally..
On the plus side though, HRT is impressing me every week. My boobs are filling out and are about fist sized, body hair has lightened up, and can't fit into old pants because of these thighs.
I also started taking antidepressants again and they seem to be helping with my stress and depression, so thats nice. Therapy, gender affirming care, and coping techniques kept me alive but I was really struggling.

Kind of forgot TekSyndicate still existed after Qain and Wendell left years ago.
But yeah, Windows seems to always get worse. Even 11 has gotten worse as it's been out. I hate dealing with it when I help my partner out with her pc.
