I mean.... Yeah.... That IS kind of their whole point!?

I mean, the headline of this post already makes me irrationally angry. 😂

Y u no close brackets!?

Switching the launcher will almost do ZERO for your privacy. Just to let you know.

Anyhow, you could check out the "F-Droid" App Store, which is populated with the most privacy respecting open source apps out there. It also has some launchers.

Or you could at least check apps on Exodus for trackers.

Don't eat your bath salts. Don't drink your bathwater.

As a general rule: Just don't.

Heavy water - like water, just heavier.

Well I wasn't expecting to find THE right answer in the comments already. Kudos!

And to everyone reading through this post: If you have questions, need more explanations or want to learn more about the options that we have to "stabilize" a renewable energy system and make it long term viable, just ask!

I'd say that this a weird way to put it. We just have too few other sustainable plants - mainly wind - in our mix.

It will most likely come back due to EU legislation.

I mean, butter from animal products would be even worse than the vegan version - but that doesn't make the vegan version healthy in any way.

However, I would always default to vegan alternatives, as living and feeling animals are not exploited in the process of making them. And when I can make dishes vegan and more nutrient dense and tasty by using whole food ingredients, it's a win-win for me. 😇

Looks really delish!

But as a short PSA: If you really have high cholesterol, this dish might not be the optimal as the vegan butter and sour cream are high in fat - especially saturated fats. This might bring your cholesterol levels up.

https://www.heartuk.org.uk/low-cholesterol-foods/saturated-fat

If you really need to keep an eye on your cholesterol levels, try not to overdo it with fats in your diet and minimize saturated fats - which are often found in "solid fats" like coconut or palm oil (or any fat derived from an animal source).

You could adapt the recipe quite easily by using a small amount of olive oil to saute the onions & mushrooms. Or you could even go zero-fat by "water sautéing" your ingredients.

The sour cream can be swapped with a "cashew-soymilk-sauce" quite easily. Still has some fat but more on the healty side. And cashews bring a lot of other health nutrients - in contrast to the sour creams.

Another plus is: They are pretty easy to install as they have the clamp on the inner side of the handle and not on outer side (as the GP1 have). So interference with the break leaverclapmp is not that problematic.

I was on a short trip on the weekend and wanted to have my luggage on the bike instead of carrying it on my back. (Unfortunately, I don't have a front bag yet.)

Some detailed shots of the attachment:

Wooden rod attached to underside of Brompton Backpack and backpack shoulder straps layed over

During my trip I realized that my legs are hitting the rod a little. I repositioned it a little further back during the tour.

Backpack attached to Brompton rear rack

To increase the stability, you can wrap the rubber straps around the rack (behind the wheel) which will increase the tension of the straps.

The idea was taken from Gianni who has a lot of great tips around Bromptons touring: https://piped.video/watch?v=vfQe4f0jbZs

Hills! But I love hills! and sky, and space, & freedom, wild freedom

Original description from Video:

In May, I took my Brompton and my little tent and cycled through the Peak District, to go and see my Dad. There were a lot of hills - and quite a lot of inquisitive cows - along the way. I camped wild, close to Axe Edge Moor, high up at the watershed of two great river systems. And it was fantastic.

Hills aren't easy, but I love them. Especially these hills, close to where I grew up. I don't know what it is - something to do with being up high, the sky, and the space, and solitude, and a feeling of wild freedom.

And I hope you enjoy meeting my Dad! We are both being treated for cancer, and we both love being out on the bike.

Hope you like the film!
