But is it? Because the amount of websites that aren't search engines but have insane levels of tracking and data collection are very high. Not all of it is for search ranking, IMO.

💯 The best way it was described to me was “it’s a parlor trick.” And I’ve started to use that phrasing ever since.

Boiling the planet just for this... thing. Freaking awful.

Oh for sure. I've seen some great mods (twin turbo, Northstar engine swap, etc) and with a proper engine, the car MOVES. You're so low to the ground and the car has excellent handling, so it's quite ready for more HP.

I've seen two companies offering drop-in EV replacement mods and lemme tell you: it's tempting. My Ioniq 5 does 0-60 in 4 seconds. The Delorean as-is does it in 12-13 seconds. So if I got the DMC to a ~6S 0-60, it would easily handle it and be crazy-fun to drive.

Yeah it looks fast. That's about it. I would consider swapping it to an EV in the future to get some real performance on it.

It does... just spelled different. 😉

Yes this is possible. I have a few hosted items with subdomains and I have it set up as follows:

All subdomains point to the same IP. Router port forwards all 80/8080 traffic to server. I use Caddy in Docker to forward the requests based on the subdomain to the appropriate docker container hosting the actual service.

This makes spinning up something new simple. You get a docker container of New Thing going, edit the CaddyFile to point to it too, set up new subdomain in cloudflare. No new open ports needed.

Hope this helps!

Once Apple overhauled Notes a few years ago AND offered a way to import from Evernote, I never looked back. For anyone in Apple’s ecosystem Notes is one of the best (and completely free or cheap on any iCloud+ plan).

Tell me you know nothing about building software without telling me you know nothing about building software.
