Binged last 3 episode thinking that exam would done and dusted ordeal.
The music really reminds me of Witcher 3 music.
Nice foreshadowing in this clip.
The story is trash. Fights are cool. The music is superb. The MC has even his leitmotiv.
Not much to say about this episode. Things happen. We are told about why we should care but we don't really care about the characters.
Recently I have watched Drive my car. I really liked it. The almost 3 hour runtime was dragging a bit long but the ending couldn't really work without all the scenes presented. The director's choices to the acting really shine through only after the film. The cinematography and the compositions are really enjoyable.
a trope inside the film
It had literal chekhov's gun
Reusing abandoned nuclear missle silos for good.
Not only a mimic but also a coin bug. It will definitely be worth it.

I was hoping for a bit more lore and even more intense interrogation but it's still was all right.
I wonder if Frieren has contingency against perfect copies. They are mimics but on much higher level.
There are few interesting world building tidbits this episode that makes me go: "Hmmmm… " What are the coins? Are they something akin to geocache log? Was that crystal a dungeon core? What happened to that one lone wolf when facing a copy of themself? Will the golems be strong enough against copy of frieren?
The pipe organs in the soundtrack really give that dungeon synth vibe.
