America is the land of the free: work harder and pull yourself up if you're struggling. Your potential is unlimited.

They should ditch the pop-ups and instead go ahead and make Edge/Bing the default without permission. There's nothing users can do but complain and accept it.

Rosatom's engineering division, Atomstroyexport JSC, has begun the main construction work on two new 3+ Generation VVER-1200 power units.

Politics aside, every nuke that comes online can reduce carbon emissions and delay or prevent climate related disasters.

Duke Energy’s filing indicates that Stokes County will be the site of a future SMR. SMR technology is carbon-free, scalable to meet the unique needs of diverse communities and can fit seamlessly into the flexible energy system of the future. The state’s goals demonstrate the central role nuclear energy must take to balance affordability and reliability with clean-energy progress while creating jobs and providing local economic benefits.

So much talk of new projects, I wonder if any will actually go anywhere.

During the discussion, the Governor also announced a directive to the Public Utilities Commission of Texas Interim Chair Kathleen Jackson to formulate a working group to study and provide recommendations that will position Texas as the national leader on advanced nuclear energy.

Texas looks to lead the carbon-free energy future? Would have never guessed

When asked about the federal government’s role, 41% of Americans say it should encourage the production of nuclear power.

Let's get those new construction contracts signed!

What's JB waiting for? We've burned fossil fuels for 40 years since this moratorium was put in place and look where it got us.

The EPA decided its scientists were overstating the risks and gave Chevron the go-ahead to make the new boat fuel ingredient at its refinery in Pascagoula, Mississippi.

Poor Mississippi.

They really should do it. The most expensive part of the facility, the facility itself, is already constructed. Even if they need new reactor vessels, it'll be more affordable than building a whole new plant.

It's weird to see prominent politicians aligning against pouring all of the money into more highway expansion. I love it.
