it was pretty clear that these apps were dogshit designed to steal information while keeping you engaged with bots

They haven't always been, though. I remember the good old times of okcupid - they had a system of interests you could enter and then they linked those interests to all of the users in their database. It was so effective to find people listening to the same music, playing the same games...

They removed the whole thing after they got bought out, removing one of the biggest features that made the platform unique. It explains why there are still a lot of people around recommending platforms like Tinder and okcupid, they remember their positive experiences and maybe even found a partner. But those times are long over.

The worst enshittification is making male people pay for replying to messages. That is just vile.

München? Seriously?

Platz 1? "No way, hahaha", um mal Arno Dübel zu zitieren.

Nicht großartig, nicht schrecklich.

And does it get easier to manage as you start to get used to it and make a routine?

European here. I worked many years for 40h/week and I never got used to it, really. There was not enough spare time in my life to enjoy it (especially, since commuting to work took off even more useful time). I neglected cleaning my room, postponed important appointments as much as possible and I was often too tired to do the things I love.

Since 2024, I now work 30h/week, completely from home. I have every Friday off and Thursday is a short day. My life has improved drastically. I am no longer tired all the time, I'm more motivated at work and I am actually capable of going to concerts, parties, cinema. It's amazing.

Every human is built different. I realized I absolutely cannot function having a 9to5 job from Monday to Friday.

I am so happy my local cinema is deep down in a basement without any mobile reception. People try to access Tiktok and just give up.

I have two Xeon E5-2697A v4's in my system. 32 cores. My machine runs the latest AAA titles like Indiana Jones on maximum settings flawlessly.

Microsoft: "Just throw it away, bro." Bless Lord Gaben for making Proton so good, I can run 95% of my Steam library on Linux, with better performance.

Post-war America. The federal government, including its departments, is a prehistory. Information no longer circulates in orbit in the blink of an eye as it once did. The world is no longer a global village. The shock wave of a nuclear explosion wiped out tax offices and the entire federal tax system - isn't that great news? Of course it is! Unfortunately, when some dangers happily passed, new ones quickly appeared in their place. Gangs of brawlers, slave hunters, cannibal mutants, rebellious robots, local tyrants, acid rains and storms of radioactive sand are just some of them. Be careful out there, dear adventurers! I just finished the comic, 104 pages in total - can you believe it!? FUTURO DARKO IS COMING!

Two of my coworkers in their early 20's got it. One of them didn't make it. It's so fucking sad...

Please don't, for your own health's sake. There is nothing of value on that platform.
