The script is gone but yeah it's possible to script it.

I didn't listen to it. I tried to. But if you listen to first five minutes or so you will perfectly understand why I couldn't.

The guy was also the guest on the Stalin episode of behind the bastards.

This is better suited for [email protected] but I'll leave it up to the mods to decide.

Why does this emoji exist?

[–] [email protected] 1 points 4 days ago

It's because you have an unrealistic expectation that words should mean something.

Ah but you see, no one is justifying genocide.

A good share I think. Cannot give you an estimate though.

Wanted to respond but forgot. LLMs are extremely unreliable on this topic. You tell them the child's age but still they have no idea what the child isn't or is capable of. Even disregarding that the advice is terribly and probably cribbed from a SEO optimised blog that is a shameless front for serving ads and affiliate links.

Jesus Christ this dweeb is given a free reign to post abhorrent responses while replies to then have been removed by mods. reddit.world moment.

Edit: these are some of the removed comments

It could be justified if it wasn't so locked down. Like you get high end hardware, just so you can be sony's paypig.

Seems to suggest that Bangladesh will go the way of Pakistan.

CW: I talk about sexual harrasment and paedo-adjacent content of the game.

In the past I have played Persona 5 and Persona 3 Reload. I am currently playing Persona 5 Golden. I feel this game would be better off if the main characters were college students of college age rather than high school students without having to change the basic formula of the game much.

Reasons why I think so:

  • College-aged people struggle with self-discovery just as much as high school students.
  • Can still play as a mute pussy magnet.
  • The central premise of playing as a transfer student attending an educational institution can remain intact.
  • Clubs and sports still exist for social link inserts.
  • Persona games often deal with mature themes, which college age students can understand and process better than high school students.
  • Rampant sexual harrasment against the female characters is slightly less detestable because it is now being done to people of legal age rather than 16-17 year old children.
  • Can preserve the premise of the Heirophant arcana, where you live under the care of a non-parent guardian.
  • Several cases of exceptional students become easier to digest. For example, the police being assisted by ace detectives aged 20-22 is more believable than by ace detectives aged 16-18 (Naoto and Akechi)

Cons:

  • I don't know how the classroom sequence would work since colleges have a wider variety of classes with more agency for the students. Perhaps the MC could be the joker because there is a certain discipline like physchology that they are very well versed in and that is hardcoded in.
  • Less appeal to paedophiles.

In general I don't know if I have the confidence to suggest that college students are that much more mature than high school students. For me personally I felt I growed the most after college. But age is definitely a factor and for some people a few years can make a lot of difference.

I'm vaguely aware of what single sign on is. Though I don't use it, it seemed non-intrusive. The most you would see buttons to login through Google, Facebook etc.

Now some sites have an entire banner pestering you to sign in through your Google account. It has a big continue button that takes you to Google and the button to close is a small x in the corner. On mobile this banner takes up a third of the screen.

Why do this?

Nageswaran’s remark came after Reserve Bank of India data showed that net FDI inflow into India dropped by 62.17 percent year-on-year to $10.58 billion in 2023-24, a 17-year-low. Simply put, India’s ability to attract foreign investment has come under challenge amid a combination of adverse circumstances — global economic uncertainty, trade protectionism and geopolitical risks, etc.

It took the fascist clown in the BJP government two complete terms to find out that being a running dog for an imperialist hegemon is a dead end. Unfortunately, they will never realise the second key ingredient in not being a failing economy, which is giving up on rapacious neoliberalism and investing in basic public services like education and health. This is on account of the fact that BJP is a front for big corporations and exists for and because of them.

I don't know how this desperation for Chinese FDI will end up. India has struggled with high tech manufacturing a lot. The iPhone factories here have low productivity. Even, the pharma industry, which has historically been reliable and something that many countries and just India have benefited from, is not killing unsuspecting consumers in Africa. BJP's "Make in India" scheme has been a failure. As such it feels like they are moving to China only because they are running out of Western investment to squander.

This is good for China though so there is that.

Love too have a trash ISP

This is what happens when you rely on American tech companies. Apple is pulling shit with Europe, the home of "civilisation", that feels like it's straight out of a stupid reality show over regulations regarding sideloading and privacy. And clowns like this will regurgigate the dumbest and the most worn-out libertarian shit in first tier media outlets.

Tbh I don't get the point behind GDPR. Is it genuinely meant to ensure privacy to some extent or is it just some form of protectionism against American tech companies?

I was vaguely aware that shit like this happened in these game but reading the exact mechanisms was gut wrenching.

The c-suite for this game should be summarily executed.

It's been a while since I have read any comic books. Been wanting to read one.

I am not an avid comic book reader. I would say capeshit is discouraged but feel free to recommend it if you want. I will leave it at your discretion. Any genre is fine except horror. Need something that has finished the run or at least has a good number of issues out so I can binge.

These are the ones I have read so far to give you an idea. But recommendations do not have to conform this list:

  1. Transformers: More Than Meets the Eyes is my favourite because of the heartfelt characters and great humour
  2. The Sandman. It's a classic and I liked it.
  3. East of West. I thought it was interesting but it didn't quite grab me.
  4. The 12 issue run of Mister Miracle. I thought what there was of it was good but it wasn't meaty enough IMO.
  5. Jeff Lemire run of Moon Knight. This was good.
  6. Saga. I read it until the hiatus. Liked it.

It's a lady talking about raising her three sons without smartphones until 16 and without social media until 18. Do kids in America commonly end up having personal smartphones before 16? She talks about how one of her sons had to scan a QR code for schoolwork. He is some age younger than 16 so I find that a bit insane.
