Maybe we can make this an every-few-years sort of event, make it more special that way.

Well someone who is 18 is also a "young woman." So someone who is 17 would be an "underage young woman." But that's clunky -- thus, "underage woman." IDK why people think this is a psy-op, seems like natural English to me.

Anyway I sympathise, I'll never call Science World the TELUS world of Science lol.

I was called "young woman" when I was 15, maybe earlier. Is this abnormal?

I don't think that your definition of the term "sex" is universal.

People who agree with me politically are generally opposed to this sort of thing, meaning that this will be primarily used to influence things in favour of my political enemies. Feels bad.

Where are you getting that it would still have the Honda name? The article clearly says that it would replace the HCoL.

Lot of people here saying they disagree with the tipping one. But you must surely admit that it is everyday etiquette in Canada. This guide is not for what's ethical -- after all, it is ethical to harangue somebody about their unethical dietary decisions -- it's to teach you what to do so that you fit in to this society better.

I think as far as etiquette goes, I would say: don't paste me unfiltered AI output. If it's not worth your effort to at least summarize that wall of slop, it's not worth my effort to read it.

I assume if they just tweak things by hand slightly then it becomes a protected derivative work. For example, if I modify Shakespeare, my modifications are protected.

Are there any first nations groups that are hosting Lemmy instances? It occurs to me that, while repatriating land to first nations may be fraught, first nations-hosted fediverse servers would be at least be a straightforward path to "digital decolonisation," no?
