Haha, yes, everyone else is trying to ruin my fun. I can fly sometimes, but not for long, and it's a real struggle to stay airborne.

I'm glad I'm not alone. My husband barely dreams at all.

By the purest definition (being aware that you are dreaming), I lucid dream nearly every night. I never did anything special to achieve this.

But, it's not as fun as they make it sound. At some point, my mind started resisting me. Sure, I can do anything I want... sometimes. However, most of the time, anything I change goes back to the way is was immediately.

I also used to be able to wake myself up while lucid dreaming. For instance, maybe I would be aware that I am napping, and I need to wake up. So, I would. But, my mind now resists that as well. When I try to wake myself up, sometimes I just wake up into another dream. And, for whatever reason, I am not aware that I am dreaming in the new dream.

None of this upsets me too much, but it is annoying. I think it may be related to some sort of mild, generalized sleeping disorder I have. I experience sleep paralysis and insomnia episodes, but they've never been frequent or upsetting enough for me to seek treatment.

Very rare? It's never happened. It's considered impossible. The fetus has no way to get nutrients outside of the uterus. Maybe one day we will develop a method of transferring the fetus into the uterus or an artificial womb. Maybe. One day.

Edit: never happened in the fallopian tubes. It can attach other places but the survival rate is 1% or less.

Cowboys are frequently fond of Orville Peck.

I'm aware of Lemmygrad, yes. FOSS is the reason why I joined Lemmy, and I was at least mildly aware of the developers' philosophy. I wasn't aware they were moderating all dissent.

I mean, I mostly look at memes, so I never noticed that. And .ml stands for Mali, the country. I didn't know it was a dual meaning acronym.

Do you care to elaborate a bit more on what you don't like about .ml moderation? I joined Lemmy before the reddit exodus. At the time I joined, .ml was the largest instance.

If only they could attach the sail to some kind of pole connected to the ship, so that this isn't an issue. Ridiculous, I know.

The APK for F-droid, because I just got a new phone.

I tried to make my duplicate as different from the original as possible, but they fell in love anyway

I've tried to find them to no avail. I'm guessing the box sets just aren't made anymore, but I figured it's worth asking in case there's some obscure one out there somewhere.

To clarify, I'm looking for a more recent Linux version. I know the older ones can be found on auction sites and the like.

I remember finding them on the Internet somewhere in the early 2000s. I remember that Kimi was one of them, so it would have to have been after the second movie (Rugrats in Paris). Anybody remember these things? I can't find any details about them online.

When I am making a post or a comment through jerboa, I am having a weird issue where if I backspace/delete, the text of the word I'm writing will combine with the word before it.

As an example, if I type

The quick brown foz

And I backspace to fix the typo, I get this

The quick brownfo

If I keep backspacing to fix the problem, it keeps combining words like this

Thequickbrown

It's very annoying and sometimes I have to delete entire sentences and start over. Also, if I have a wall of text and click somewhere in the text to make an edit, sometimes it will keep typing where I was before. Also annoying.

Does anybody else have this issue? It could be a product of my keyboard, which is Open Board from F-Droid. But I usually only have issues like this when trying to type my information into websites that aren't designed for mobile. (Fennec, if it matters.)

I chose my instance 9 or so months ago purely because it was suggested by the Jerboa app at the time. In lieu of making numerous accounts to access communities that aren't federated with my instance, I was hoping to make a second account with a very "federated" instance. Any suggestions?

Despite being here for a while, I've mostly been a lurker til recently and haven't learned a lot. Thanks in advance.
