It seems they want to hear "don't worry ___ will save us". They'll not get that comfort from me

I have friends in the impacted gov divisions being targeted by doge. They're worried about their career and asked for advice. They didn't like when I said fight back though.

Hearing from some of my other high paid coworkers talk about social issues reminds me that I'm nothing like them. I think for me, I just happen to have a high paying job and the pursuit of infinite wealth does not interest me. I'd only want more funds to fund mutual aid and things that grow communism.

Also the irony of "teach me how to think for myself"

"Eat shit" "Lib" "Post hog" is unoriginal, basic. "I hope your crush starts a politcal substack" is terrifying. Realistic, hits at the heart. It could happen to you. It happened to me.

If you don't have a reason not to (hardship, no cash, etc) then why not ? I've never regretted giving money.
