Anything is possible in the upcoming season of Fiona & Cake.

I just thought I'd share this. I actually thought that I'd share this, because I always find these collabs hilarious, especially the first clip! Nina Iseri and Sakura Minamoto have different VAs, but did it so well.

As a long time fan of this pairing, I'm interested to see what this alternate universe comic has to offer. Just thought I'd share it here with you all.

Right, exactly. I think Sony sees this as a money-making venture, especially since the original deal to license KPDH to Netflix was not great.

[-] historythemystery@lemmy.org 3 points 7 months ago

That's definitely a possibility. I wouldn't be surprised they did that.

Yeah, that's kinda how I justify it. I did the same thing when I purchased a hat from the Glitch Productions shop to support Knights of Guinevere.

Oh I totally get what you are saying and I do not disagree. On the other hand, I don't pay for Netflix under my phone plan (it's one of the services that T-Mobile provides), so in that way I am supporting the film. At least that is how I justify it. Also, I don't expect Netflix to ever release a physical version of the film (unless they do, which would surprise me), so there's that. Additionally, I'm tired of watching the soundtrack on YouTube, so there's that.

It was pretty inexpensive and it was a way to support the film since I can't see it in theaters (sadly). I hope it gets a Blu-ray release.

I bet Adora is happy to see that.

As is The Dragon Prince (with lesbian characters) and KPop Demon Hunters, along with many, many other shows.

I kinda think it depends who you come across. My interactions so far with fans has been pretty positive. I personally think RWBY isn't perfect, but it does get better, in my view, especially after the animation was improved.

[-] historythemystery@lemmy.org 2 points 7 months ago

Yeah, RWBY is hated by people but I'm a big fan myself. The last season was great.

I haven't even watched all of these, but The Watermelon Woman was great and But I'm a Cheerleader is such a classic (and also so, so relevant now)

That's one bad teleportation "accident." But to be real, I think she had a crush on Adora through the series.

Yeah I hear what you are saying. I tended to like it, as someone who likes time travel, world travel stories, but yeah I do think Zenshu was certainly stronger. There were certainly unanswered questions at the end, but at least it kept my interest.
