I like the premise of the episode, but it's just... such Marvel writing, especially the whole car stuff with Kirk. I pretty much expected him or La'an to go "he's right behind me, isn't he?" at some point in the episode

I'm... not gonna lie, I get the Federation's argument. Genetic engineering is a dangerous thing to start doing to sapient species, and it can lead to a resurgence of eugenics and other stuff like that.

The only real issue with their stance is that they discriminate against people who've been genetically augmented, instead of simply trying to prevent stuff from happening in the first place.

I don't really care about Gargron and the other growth-focused admins, I literally use an instance that hides stuff from mastodon.social lol

I agree with the sentiment but I hate wojaks ๐Ÿ’€

Non-fascists using imagery fascists created or adopted is exactly what they want cause it helps muddy the waters and hide their dogwhistles

[-] [email protected] 2 points 2 years ago

That's not a mock-up that's Horizon Forbidden West with some AI crap on top of the image

I went and launched MP3 specifically to look at the UI, and actually it does have the diegetic UI! The menus and map and stuff show up inside of Samus' helmet unlike in 2

It's just "new construction options" ๐Ÿ˜›

(C&C is kind of one of my special interests lol)

I would've guessed Command & Conquer until you said "new units awaiting" lol

Makes sense, graphics card manufacturers often implement patches for specific poorly-programmed games. Proton does the same thing in Linux.
