Google play is fucked for many years now. Gone are the days of Gingerbreads, Ice Cream Sandwiches and Jelly Beans.
You don't have any local Dutch tracker for such things?
It's more accurate, faster and it remembers position "for ever". Even for an example when I am watching 3hour podcast and I misclick and close the browser. Next time I open the video I am on the same exact position as I was before. I never had this experience with vanilla youtube. It's very unrealible. At least this was my experience every time.

For troubleshooting, I still turn to reddit. This is just unfortunate reality of:
- Massive community
- Very old website
- Google search algorithm
But I am confident tides will shift to lemmy sooner or later. And if I am unable to find answer on reddit, I'm sure I'm gonna ask it here not on reddit.
I mean, if they can justify their lenght go for it. The problem is when movies overstay their welcome.
Just use letterboxd, it's great. And for tv shows you can use serializd.
More people being aware of lemmy on reddit is also good thing in the long run isn't it?
