Same as IMDB. But better, more focused on social media side. It became very popular in the last years. Maybe even more than imdb. IMO must have for movie lovers.

I really don’t see it as overkill for someone who regularly watches movies and browses Letterboxd. It’s just a nice, convenient add-on. I would argue that something like Radarr is way more “overkill,” as you put it.

I wanted to share with you a browser extension for Letterboxd that lets you download movies directly from the movie page. You can set it up for public or private trackers. It also adds the date when upcoming movies will be available to download (either streaming or Blu-ray quality).

Last few years I’ve been excitedly waiting for sequels from several small-to-medium sized studios that made highly acclaimed original games—I’m talking about Cities: Skylines, Kerbal Space Program, Planet Coaster, Frostpunk, etc.—yet each sequel was very poorly received to the point I wasn’t willing to risk my money buying it. Why do you think this happens when these developers already had a winning formula?

Came because of the reddit API. Stayed, because I couldn't stand reddit users anymore.

And half of the settings moved from old control panel to a new crappy UI settings. At least commit and move all of them.

I never find what I am looking for in there, without opening and closing a bunch of windows. I swear they regularly move location of some settings. Search function is pretty bad too.

I mean thank fuck, they at least do that for their most expensive controller. Maybe they should just stop scamming us, and use "hall effect sensing joysticks" too.

I think most people sadly don't use subscription feed. They just blindly watch whatever youtube algorithm throws at them.

For troubleshooting, I still turn to reddit. This is just unfortunate reality of:

  1. Massive community
  2. Very old website
  3. Google search algorithm

But I am confident tides will shift to lemmy sooner or later. And if I am unable to find answer on reddit, I'm sure I'm gonna ask it here not on reddit.
