Right, tools, okay then.

You mean, tools that'll enable you to make even lazier games while laying off the people who've been upholding your shitty company's existence. But you know, Take-Two and especially Randy you fucktard, go for it. Go and make a game entirely off of Google's Genie toy and see how far you get.

Depends on the subject. I do actually like to hear someone's passion in something. I typically don't like myself dominating a conversation all of the time, so I'm almost always tossing the chance to the other person to speak their mind. People always told me that they're sorry for rambling but I'm encouraging it because I like to listen.

I get more tired of hearing myself talk than I do others.

Don't do that, just quietly block the noise as much as possible. I've now blocked any and all politically-based instances and magazines because getting too caught into politics, just makes you all around feel miserable about everything.

And the people who're so gung-ho on hating Nintendo, are the kinds of people that want you to bathe in that kind of misery. It must be taxing and exhausting to be an activist all of the time. Makes me wonder how they manage to sleep at night, if any. There are bigger things going on in the world and hating a video game company is the least of those things to get upset over in comparison.

That's what happens when people who're so defeatist from making a better change in the world do, they just pick on smaller frivolous things and tell everyone to hate on that just to cope because they're simply too powerless to do anything about the bigger things.

This game to me will always remain as the best farming-based game I'll ever play. I originally grabbed this game in it's first year so I've been there since Year 1 of this game and I think it was one of the few games I've bought for full price too. Haven't regretted it.

So this account is not my first rodeo. I've been off and on the fediverse.

I think it's been an interesting experience. I believe there's still more to go and be done 3 years in. I think there should be more tools available to deal with assholes than hoping and praying moderators deal with it, considering how moderators operate more on a "when I have the time to" than "I need to do this for the sake of the community I'm upholding the values of".

Mastodon didn't stick for me, it was too decentralized for my tastes. I haven't tried anything else because if I didn't like X/Instagram for example, I'm not going to like their Fediverse versions either because they're not my platforms of choice.

Life's too short on trying to always be morally correct.

[-] fyrilsol@kbin.melroy.org 4 points 2 days ago

Welp, there you go. But, I never touch that shitty X platform and I don't dare register an account there ever again to really care looking. Too much drama and cringe on that platform that has a sad stranglehold on many people's lives.

Since it's a Redditor and Redditor information is by default, to be taken with many levels of skepticism. I'm under the impression that this 'criticism' are probably in the form of people telling said Redditor that they're a bullshitter.

I've done a quick search to find an image of this copy and I'm not surprised that I have not found it word for word. The only thing close that I've found was a letter he actually did write to Hollywood, back in 2012

So it's likely that this Redditor, probably hashed up a made-up tweet image because it's a common way to stir up bullshit, like any lowlife Redditor would want to do when they're bored.

Oh and I ran a Google image search on this image and what came up? The Reddit post itself, go figure.

I stand corrected as someone actually pointed to the source.

To clarify, if I was introducing someone to the Diablo series for the first time and told them they'd have to start on the first one. I wouldn't want them playing the bare vanilla version. There is a Bezelbub mod out there that gives the game lots of QoL improvements, you'd be thinking you're playing a build of Diablo 2 before its final version.

So, if I had to tell anyone what the best way to play that game would be, it is the Bezelbub mod. That was how I've beaten the first game anyways.

Matrix Reloaded.

Actually, people didn't like both Reloaded and Revolutions. I think with what the lore was going with, they served the series right. I just think people had a hard time following what they were about.

I can't defend Resurrections though.

Whenever the USPS Informed Delivery e-mail tells me I've got "multiple pieces of mail that isn't imaged" it usually tells me out of all of the mail I'd get, one of them is going to be bad. Usually it is, like times I've gotten delayed citations in the mail mixed with junk mail.

Everything is disposable. I don't think you or the author who wrote that article has a clue. It's a matter of getting things that'll last longer than others do and making financially wise choices and purchasing decisions based on the needs of the moment.

Like, I'm not spending $5 on a toothbrush when you need to replace it every 30 days, I buy the cheapest toothbrush I can afford to replace it with since they're all equally made. I will spend some more money on a computer component if I feel it will have a positive increment on my entire system. Replacing my entire system would just set me back big and it would make me waste the components that are already inside that are still good. Plus, if I decide to sell the old system, I'm not going to get a good value back.

The only thing I've yet to replace is the case. Why? Because it's still serviceable to me.

I just don't get this stupid logic where you have to replace the entire system. For what? just to be with the in-crowd of current technology trends? No thanks, I'll build my PC based on what I want out of it.

Diablo IV, for me. I love the Diablo series and just a bit ago, I sank 2 hours down to get my necromancer character up and set in Diablo II Resurrection. I have Diablo III and its expansion too, but they're online only and I almost can't be bothered to go through that. I've beaten it a long time ago.

And I really do want to get Diablo IV, but they've made that online-only as well. Like, I know I'm always online and everything but I do like to have that fallback where if I am without internet or I can't afford internet for a time, I can play or watch things to bide the time over. I can't do that with online-only games because it's like being gated away from something you bought.

So everytime I look at Diablo IV, I just get a little depressed at times. Blizzard should do what D2R did, have an online character and have an offline character.

My SIRIUSXM subscription expired 3 days ago and I used that app to listen to comedy clips like from Bill Burr, Louis CK and others. It was a way for me on both my way to work and back from work, to relax and decompress some.

However, I'm not interested in going back to Sirius, at least not for a while. I get many e-mails from them to take advantage of a $5 for 1 year deals and that's going to wait. What I'd like to know, is if there's any app or station I can download, that has comedy stations and would work on Android Auto.

Because I've tried a couple times to download comedy stations I'd think would work through Android Auto, but their icons don't show up even when the app is loaded up.

Any ideas?

Whether you were born through it or learned about it.

Mine is the 2000s.

It was a very mean-spirited decade with very crude forms of weirdness thrown in between.

  • It birthed communities like 4chan, SomethingAwful and Reddit. Where, these communities harbored some of the most degenerative behavior and content the internet has seen. They all predate later communities such as KiwiFarms, where it was seen acceptable to post racial, xenophobic, misogynistic content as well as turn select people's lives upside down with constant scrutiny and mockery mixed.

  • Porn and Gore content were running wild and unchecked. Porn became increasingly rampant as there were lack of censorship and places like Rotten.com existed.

  • Shock Jock personalities like Howard Stern and Tom Leykis were on the radio. These two are examples whose careers earned them lots of money exploiting social vulnerabilities and putting them on the spotlight to point and laugh at. Tom Leykis' entire show, revolved around edging against misogynistic tendencies, that prided in seeing women as nothing more than sex objects. Even going as far as to encourage men to see them as nothing more than sex objects.

  • 9/11 happens and we all know the repercussions of that event. The government's response became incredibly fumbled, initiating a blanket war on the idea of Terror. This would sink the country into an eventual recession, it would see laws being passed that gave the government leverages like to spy and track on all citizens. It would also increase the national debt into irrecoverable levels that still remain today.

  • Hollywood began their mark on remaking films by decade, starting with the 60s and 70s with movies like Starsky and Hutch, Dukes of Hazzard, The Honeymooners and more. It would be a trend we'd see since as the decades get higher. Despite some critically successful films, Hollywood also churned out numerously awful films although they would see some net positives in the box office that encouraged them to continue.

  • The emo wave of the 2000s came twice, both early and in the middle of the 2000s. It was seen as the cool thing to dress up in all black, listen to bands like My Chemical Romance and portray themselves as depressed, suicidal individuals. The concern here is the fact that pretending to be suicidal sparked a controversial debate with mental health. Where it was harder for actual sufferers to get the attention and treatment they needed because they feared that they would be seen as fakers because of these scene movements.

  • Tabloid culture took hold of media and media giants such as FOX were manufacturing so many stories around for views and to push political agendas. This all would predate and fuel the current problems we're facing in regards to misinformation going wild today.
