Screw em, vote your conscience. I just don't get the whole "voter shaming" thing that the Democrats keep relying on.

Earlier on in my cringe teenage years (before I knew better) I was a libertarian guy. Libertarians seemed to be the only ones in the early 2000s who were against the Iraq War and were saying to cool it on the culture war BS. Republicans in my circle never once tried to guilt me into voting Republican.

It's like some sort of deeply seated insecurity that Democrats have where they feel like they literally need everyone to validate them.

I predict Dems pushing gun control for the 10,000th time and thinking it'll help Joe's reelection chances, lol.

Imagine thinking leftist infighting is a new thing. 😂 And it's a good thing; lefties argue because they give a damn and really, really want substantive change.

Hexbear has always been a place to hang out with like-minded comrades and feel a little better knowing you're not alone. Posting is not going to overthrow the current system. This is the modern-day Pravda that hopefully will push people towards praxis.

The whole principle behind electoral politics is to give your symbolic consent to be governed by a person. Therefore not voting is a principled stand if you don't consent to be governed by any of the clowns being presented. Its really that simple.

Anyone else remember when Trump picked real estate broker and son-in-law Jared Kushner to broker peace in the middle east? Lol. I guarantee the thought process there was just a little racism. frothingfash

Crowdsourcing the apocalypse...

Know what's really depressing... what may explain record warming this year was phase-out of sulfur fuel used in cargo ships 2020.

Sulfur emissions into the air kept warming lower than it should have been due to thr "global dimming" effect.

https://www.carbonbrief.org/analysis-how-low-sulphur-shipping-rules-are-affecting-global-warming/

So, I guess in a way geoengineering is already occurring... it's just really reckless and unmanaged. Feels bad. 😞

Havana Club - the real Cuban version. Great stuff! Though you need to pick it up outside the US because of the embargo nonsense.

What about EXTREME nacho cheese Doritos™?

Oh God, oh shit, I said I wasn't going to do it. I said I wasn't going to start a China struggle session. Already getting flashbacks to the Discord.

But something just doesn't sit right with me and wanted to get some clarification here...

My question is this: why does China ban labor organizing/unions?

Is this yikes/intentional/actually a good thing?

(Yeah, I do know that labor unions are not always unequivocally good and sometimes they act more like middle management than as representatives of the workers... but democratizing the workplace seems like a no-brainer for any socialist project.)

Thoughts?

Honest question because I'm a little out of loop. Seeing a whole lot of these posts lately and were TERFS genuinely a big problem on this site?

Being a leftist but not supporting Trans liberation is like saying - "Yeah, I'm a Marxist who supports the struggles of the working class... except for service workers - they don't count as laborers." Just does not compute.

Hoping our Trans comrades are feeling welcome here!
