Could it be some aftermarket camera on the front that they put in there?

Do you mean a hard reset like wipe data and put it in factory default or a hard reboot with volume up/down, hold right button?

Probably an 11

So I started down this road back in 2009. Imo android phones really sucked in 2009. The iPhone 3GS was pretty wow. I had previously used a Treo, BlackBerry, Nokia n80, various PDAs, and te iPhone seemed the most polished. Mind you I thought the first iPhone sucked royally especially bc if the lack of real gps, no flash, AT&T asshats made Apple disable MMS because there were afraid it would break their network lol, anyways…

I was already somewhat in the Apple ecosystem with ipods. I had owned iPods for several years at this point and it was also a plus that I could just connect this new device that would have all my music and playlists as I set them up and I didn’t have to carry a separate phone or use a different music management app. I stayed with iPhone because I got more entrenched in the Apple ecosystem. Most of my social circle use iPhones which makes messaging easier, although I have friends and relatives in mh country of origin so I still use WhatsApp a lot.

Perhaps more than you wanted in an answer? 🤷

It’s relatively new.

Went from 11 pro to 15 pro. Same wallpaper and Lock Screen of my family. I can tell the phone is new lol.

I also have the Google voice app in my dock. For anything business - aka that’s not personal like friends and family - I use GV, and give out my GV number. I got burned with scam calls, and it was a royal pain to change phone numbers.

Almost daily. I have people in my favorites like my wife, mother, father(when he was alive), best friends. I look at missed calls, I check voicemails(yes, Gen Z people, voicemail, because the grown-ups still leave voicemails sometimes). To dial people in my contacts I sometimes open contacts, sometimes open the phone app.

Cheapest would be a Roku stick. It supports airplay.

Like a second tail on a dog. Useless.

Well in theory journaling file systems should be able to repair but nothing is perfect. Do you really want to gamble with a backup?

Yesterday evening I saw an alert on my phone that an NFC device was identified near me. I tap it, and it showed me the serial number of an AirTag (which I didn’t think to screenshot), and the associated phone number for the tag were the last four digits of my phone number. So I tapped identify and it couldn’t find it. Now under find my in the AirTags tab, it shows a link identify found item. I tap it, it searches but can’t find anything. All of my and my wife’s AirTags check out and have checked in recently. I did a hard restart of my phone but the link is still there afterwards.

Any suggestions?

Just from the thread about showing your home screens, what’s up with the 30000-60000+ hnrwad emails, people? Do you folks subscribe to every email list under the sun and never read those emails or do you just never read your emails?
