I am very confused between the following browsers: Safari, Edge (I dont mind using bing because I use an outlook account as my main email), Chrome, Brave and Arc. I have an intel MBP from 2019 with about 4 hours of battery life. I just wanted to know what browser other macbook users are using and why.

I use Safari for everything, it just suits me the best from all browsers I’ve tried and it does a great job for me personally.

Firefox, because it’s open source and their organization pushes for an open web

When I first got my Mac I was using Safari as it just runs smoother but as I'm still an android phone user, I was missing out on the syncing of history and passwords so i almost always use Chrome. It's just so seamless between my phone and MacBook.

I've been on android and chrome for too long to change now.

On Android, but use Firefox. I have all my passwords synced across devices as well. You can have the passwords imported from Chrome. I used to use Chrome for a couple of years. Switching back to Firefox was pretty painless.

Firefox. Been using it since 0.3 beta. It syncs across all of my devices. I can send tabs to any device. It is open source and very customizable. Fast. Stable. And it ain't Chrome.

Run Speedometer 2.0. Safari seems faster than other browsers on my MBA

I think that is exclusive to the M chip macbooks. On my intel macbook safari was no better if i remember correctly.
