They can steal your data if you're logged into a PSN account, and down the line the plan (which they don't want to admit) is to get PC players paying for a multiplayer subscription like on console.
WOW is proof that human beings are biologically programmed to work together to achieve goals. It's a shame capitalism suppresses this desire in people and forces them to only let it out in games. Imagine if we had a society where people's work was properly valued, where they could self organise to accomplish great things.
Understanding physics issues like momentum, traction, and the way a car turns is important to not crashing. Otherwise you get people making poor decisions on ice.
Hugging without consent is bad. The person you're touching might be autistic and you might be hurting them. That's why you ask first.
How come OP's talking about NPD, which is a disability, and you're talking about abusers? NPD isn't abuse. Did you reply to the wrong post by mistake?
I support black rights, but any time somebody says black lives matter, I interrupt them and say that I don't think we should let black people do violent crimes, and say shame on them for enabling black criminals. But I do support black rights.
This is literally the way conservatives talk about people with NPD. It's all "I support equality", but they think equality means a bunch of ableist stereotypes about us being allowed to happen, and they oppose that. Somehow they think they can support the idea of equality for people with disabilities, while complaining any time equality is mentioned.
That would be a great solution, because while I love Typescript, I hate compiled web code. One of the coolest things about the internet is that as it's supposed to work, you can download the source code for any website you go to. It's open source by design. I hate closed source websites and I hate compiled website code that helps close the source it's quite a contradiction because typescript is awesome and I recognise that compilation is the only way to get it to run on our web infrastructure. So it would be great if we could just type JavaScript and solve the contradiction that way.
They sure are. It sounds like this video is examining these things in isolation instead of looking at the wider social effects that also help counter climate change. For example, if you build houses closer together, you'll not only reduce heating and cooling costs, you'll also reduce the monetary and carbon costs of infrastructure, you'll improve the efficiency calculation of public transit, and you'll make bikes more viable. One change with knock on effects that help three different sustainability areas. One change that literally costs negative money and also helps the environment. How did this not make the list??
Also shooting rich people dead only costs a hunting rifle and some bullets, and it prevents hundreds of private jet flights a year.
Nah, readability is low and you can't divide by three OR five easily. Binary has even fewer prime factors than decimal.
Fuck your decimal system. Dozenal is the most intuitive number system. Arithmetic is so much easier to learn in dozenal and you can even count higher on your hands if you use phalanges instead of fingers. Base 10 is a crap number system. It's barely composite, it only has two prime factors.
We have hoverboards, and they don't hover. We have jetpacks, but they run on water and need a hose. Our ray guns are only useful for blinding pilots. Our AI doesn't even have a robot body, and it starts repeating itself with shocking speed. We pretty much gave up on going to space anymore, except for a Nazi who has a grudge against trans people because his daughter won't speak to him.
Our engineering is disappointing because the rate of innovation is slowing down, and it's slowing because all the low hanging fruit is already picked. It's taking more and more resources to continue at the same speed of innovation. You can't just have an apple hit your head and discover gravity anymore, innovations in theoretical physics require supercolliders and deep space telescopes.
The good news, though, is there's plenty of low hanging fruit in psychonautics. So that's the science I'm interested in. Unfortunately, y'all atheists don't believe in magic so you're missing out on a whole scientific field. You won't mix science and religion, so you can't innovate as much.
