Perhaps my understanding of modern-day China is incorrect, which is why I asked because I actually would like to know more. I'm not trying to begin an internet argument, though it's clear at least a few people find it easier to click down arrow than provide requested information and actually educate fellow human being.

I'm not claiming that manufacturing can't be owned by the public, but from what I know of the current state of the world, China mass produces basically everything and this forms a not insignificant portion of the world economy; though I have doubts as to whether socialism is truly in place or it's really just red capitalism, class wars and all. Granted, my knowledge is limited so I'm open to further information on this

oops the Group of Pedophiles successfully voted against releasing them, which these headlines just so happen to be covering up, by crazy random happenstance

this isn't really totally relevant anymore because I'm late in replying (as usual) but they were games that I was excited to play as soon as they came out because I knew that I would enjoy them and I knew I didn't want them to be spoiled for me by the internet, which it's become very good at doing

...so for me, at the time, they were exclusives, even though they aren't anymore

Depends what you want out of a game. I loved XIII, XV and XVI but for different reasons. if you go into any of them expecting old-school FF gameplay you'll be disappointed, but if you want decent modern JRPGs with fairly confusing stories you might find something you'll like.

None of the old-school fans like the new games but the series has always been about trying new things.
