It's scary, but also very unsurprising. Companies haven't seen their workers as actual human beings for many years. That's the bigger problem that is behind all of this.

The big problem is that we're not just up against plain stupidity, we're also up against organised and weaponised stupidity that is being enabled and fanned by those in power and the media, and also their billionaire backer donors, who want to drag us all the way back to the medieval ages.

That's much more sadistic and worse than plain stupidity which we are all guilty of from time to time until we learn better. With organised and weaponised stupidity, they don't want us to learn better, because our ignorance benefits their wallets.

I'll often order stuff from Ebay/Amazon even though the shop is right next door. It's partial anxiety but also mostly pure laziness.

Explorers 1985! I love this movie to bits and never knew it was considered a flop until recently.

We're advising her to be cautious, not advising her to call the whole thing off. What's so wrong with that?

It's quite possible that he is indeed a generous person, but still be careful. Truly generous people like that are very far and few in between, at least in my own experience, so most are usually that nice early on when they want something from you. Not trying to put him down, because we don't know him... But be careful.

I get what you are saying, but games are not streamed from the discs anymore and haven't since the PS3/Xbox 360 days. They are installed to the SSD which then loads up the game as normal.

It wouldn't actually be so bad if everything else wasn't fast becoming unaffordable as well. If bills, rent, shopping and other expenses were not already sky high, then we might be able to afford the higher game prices.

You have to go through this even when you're applying for something like shelf stacking at your local store. It's truly ridiculous.

I become even more glad and grateful of Linux with each passing day!

This would be such a cool thing, too bad it will only be used to scrape our data in order to sell us more ads. There are far too many technologies and concepts that have been ruined already due to bloody greed.

I was banned from Reddit for posting NSFW pics of my own body in the right adult subs, and appealed and they still did not unban me, so here I am! I miss the friends I made there but I don't miss the site... they are too ban happy over there and it was becoming buggy.
