starfield is fucking dogshit and confirmed my suspicion that bethesda has no idea what makes their games good.
sandbox is only good if the worldbuilding accompanying it is top notch, and bethesda have been watering down their writing ever since morrowind came out

BG3 is legitimately one of the best games I've ever played. They have to iron out the bugs still, frankly, but it was a pure blast to play through the game. One of the most impressive games I think I've ever seen, narratively, because of the sheer amount of choices with actual consequence there are in the game.
fair warning to anyone considering starfield: you can pirate the game :)
Baldur's Gate 3 makes 2023 an incredible year just by itself. Can't wait to get my Switch so I can play Super Mario Bros Wonder and Super Mario RPG as well
