My LinkedIn account and now my Xing account are in "Not interested right now." mode. I was not a heavy user of that platform.

Maybe other people can share there experience with the Xing platform ?

Just filled in the register form on xing.com. Seconds later I received an email to verify my email and. After clicking on the verify button I was registered and could complete the rest of my profile.

They have a help & contact page, maybe you can try to contact them that way and explain your problem https://help.xing.com/hc/en-us?nwt_nav=footer&segment=b2c

I closed my LinkedIn account and moved to the German Xing. It was the only EU solution I could found that resembled the US one.

That's one thing I cross of my US dependency list.

This tracker shows only 4 shops supported. I hope this number is going to increase soon.

Maybe I did’t explain it very well: If more and more goods and digital services are bought in Europe, this must have an impact on the economy. What parameters are going to change and where can you see this changes ?

Metrics (lemmy.world)

For a beginner with zero economic knowledge, what metrics can be observed to see the effect of this movement?

It used to be. Sadly it’s being sold to Kraft Heinz Company https://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/De_Ruijter_(bedrijf)

Good idea! I’m going to look into this.

Chocolate flakes (lemmy.world)

I was so disappointed in my local food store. A wall of shelves filled with Royal De Ruijter in all colours and flavours you can imagine. No other options available… So I walked a couple of extra meters to a store more outside the city and I found this:

  • Flakes from De Rit manufactured in Germany according to the package
  • Granola bars from Made Good manufactured in The Netherlands

Very happy with this discovery !

In the meantime America buys all Luke Oil gas stations. There's still a lot of work to be done...
