Thank you for the detailed explanation. The way you describe it makes total sense.

I saw the snow as a patch and not a hill because there is no dropshadow on the left side and she doesn't stagger or leave any visible footprints while descending. Those are all deliberate choices by the artist though I guess.

I'd also say so. The last sentence puts the whole thing in relation to people with a chinese accent not the nation of China. Regardless of what they think of China. It's subtle though since it only happens in the last sentence. That just makes it more devious though

Are there any manga that used to be extremely popular but then something bad happened (either in the manga or in it's surroundings) so that after it was made public it was kinda collectivly decided to never talk about the manga ever again?
