I have oxo pop ones that look really similar and they all seal really well. Are the ones in this image different or did I just luck out?

Appreciate the clarification. My curiosity certainly isn’t more important than surviving loved ones. Theirs no acceptable torture obviously, I was trying to figure out, at least generally, the context to go with the cops statement. I can’t imagine the kinds of things a homicide detective sees throughout their career, not really anyway. I’m guessing my question probably came off insensitive etc. I just spoke my curiosity after reading the article and searching online a bit to find an answer and came back and asked without thinking about it.

Their comments on the AR accuracy are blowing my mind. I hit all 40 targets and got marksman with the M16 and I never touched a gun before when we went to the range to qualify, a few others did also and everyone hit pretty damn accurately up to 300 yards away all on iron sights. And a properly sighted scope helps significantly, especially if you’ve planned your shot in advance. The only way someone thinks a sniper rifle is needed for those ranges surely has to be ignorant of what it’s like to shoot one of these guns.

I’m all for additional security measures but they flat out admitted to not checking individual ammunition (blanks, live, and dummie rounds), which already have visual and auditory differentiators. People didn’t take their jobs seriously and a woman is dead because of it, the change needed, regardless of anything else, is ensuring people take the fucking job seriously or everything gets halted on the spot before an accident happens.

I don’t mind as much when supporting equitable efforts but it always bugs me when anyone claims something wouldn’t exist without X like nobody else contributed and/or advancements wouldn’t have been made without a specific individual and I feel like their are more constructive ways to communicate the significant value of women without the absurd claim that the web wouldn’t exist without the specific contributions from a very small subset of individual women in a field with many brilliant minds.

I deal with this also except my ex abandoned us to move states away. She will still get notifications via email or text that she forwarded to me because they have her information on file. They have her information because I was forced to provide divorce paperwork showing I had custody of the kids to enroll them in school. Wonder how many moms get asked for paperwork proving custody when they try enrolling their kids in school. It’s reduced over the last three years but the first couple were ridiculous. Finally have a mom of one kid and dad of another kid that recognize I’m a parent to my children. Everything is stupid though. Every doctors apt, school visit, dentist apt, hell even trips to the store. Some BS content like “where’s mom” or “oh you’re filling in today”. I’m so sick of it. I cope by telling myself that at least it would be worse if the love of my life died horrifically instead of going bananas and abandoning us and I had to deal with this shit. At some point I’m worried I’ll snap at people but I never want to say anything negative about her around the kids.
