Didn't they start shoving AI bullshit into it? Kinda undermines the point.

Sure, but quite often in EMUs the cars come in sets that can't operate disconnected from each other, so I'd argue that they still comprise a single vehicle.

I'd argue that the ISS, due to lacking means of propulsion (unless you count explosive decompression) is not a vehicle.

Well shit, these crackers must be really brittle.

"World's largest EV"

Blatantly untrue. Larger EVs have been in use for more than a century at this point in the form of EMU trains.

What protections? Give me some concrete examples of what you're talking about here.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 6 hours ago

That's a terrible example. Gendered bathrooms would still fulfil their function if anybody could use them regardless of gender, causing no measurable harm to anyone.

It's all shits and giggles until anon ends up in a 'man vs bear spray' scenario

Assuming good faith on the part of those involved, I don't see how inclusivity comes at the cost of effectiveness. Would you care to elaborate?

Sure, the anatomical features we use to categorise people into genders have always existed, but the categories themselves are made up and there's a rather large amount of overlap between them. The more strictly someone attempts to enforce a given set of criteria as the basis for this categorisation, the less practical utility their definition tends to have in terms of everyday use.

Got off TAFE early today. Teacher had to pick up her kid from childcare cause they couldn't be arsed dealing with a three year old's tantrum. Some bullshit about the literal toddler posing a threat to other kids.

I was hoping to get more work done today. Guess I'm getting more units extended to next week.

Started work on this little beauty late last year, and after an initial fuck-up in which I soldered the microcontrollers on upside down (I'm forever grateful for the fact that my gf's dad has a hot air desolderer), it's been an absolute pleasure to type on.

Switches are Zealios V2, and I've added O-rings to soften the clack.
