I've no idea whether that's something that would be totally unacceptable to Australia or not.

China is our largest trading partner and our government has made a significant effort to rebuild relations with China since the previous government trashed the relationship. I don't have a source handy, but I recall seeing a poll that found that at least a plurality of Australians would not support joining a hypothetical war against China over Taiwan, and I think that was before Trump took over again. Australian public opinion of the US is in freefall like in so many other countries, so I can't imagine support for going to war with China would have increased in the last 5 months.

I can think of a few fun combos for Star Wars (Episode 4 specifically):

Alec Guinness (Obi-Wan Kenobi) as mentioned elsewhere in this thread

Carrie Fisher (Princess Leia) - Leia being interrogated by Muppet Tarkin and rescued by Muppet Luke, Han and Chewie

Peter Cushing (Tarkin) would be a case of "less is more" but it could be funny. Not sure how well it would work for the whole movie though.

Sigourney Weaver in Aliens as well. "Game over man, game over!" Muppet Hudson flails wildly

It also says "must not be the same as any of the last seven passwords used" so I can only take "no repeats" to mean no repeated characters.

Requiring passwords to be exactly 8 characters is especially ridiculous because even if they're cheaping out on bytes of storage, that's completely cancelled out by the fact that they're storing the last seven passwords used.

Australia made them offer refunds thanks to our consumer law.

I'd say Eric is more like Buster because if they had a Michael they might not be in so much trouble.

Because the reports go unheeded by management until it costs them money, at which point the quality department get their arses kicked for not fixing the problem that management ignored.

"Essentially infinite" is a bit of a stretch. The minimum warranty period is 12 months but it is true that there's no defined maximum period. The reasonably expected lifespan of a consumer good generally increases with its value. Manufacturers and retailers are free to offer further warranties in addition to the guaranteed warranty period under the consumer law but this does not reduce or replace your rights under the law.

I will add that change of mind refunds are not covered by Australian consumer law and it is uncommon for retailers to accept them compared to the US. You can usually exchange something for another item of equivalent value or store credit, but you usually can't buy a phone to try out and return it after 30 days for example.

(I assume) Australia

You assume correctly. Senate Estimates is usually a bit more dignified than Question Time in the House of Representatives though. QT is just a straight up circus with the way the opposition behaves.
