Netanyahu wants Trump to be the next president for some reason though?

At least we have choices outside of those two, and open logs to peruse

I do concur. I am astounded at the incompetence of the ones pulling the strings of the Republican party. Sure they got some Supreme Court justices in place, but man, they really, really messed up in 2020 letting the Democrats gain control of the Whitehouse. All they had to do was strong arm Trump into making the COVID stuff a patriotic war against an invisible virus, and he would have swept* (edit) the election. Nope they shortsightedly let him retard it up, thinking it would kill more people in cities, ie Democratic voters. Lulz

History doesn't repeat, but it does rhyme.

What do you guys think was the intention with this? I recently had an episode of mania, and was behaving a bit oddly, but I confirmed with my mother (this was her condo I'm renting it) that it wasn't here when she left and I've never seen it before :|

I've delayed making the transition to a fully "secure" set up until upgrading my PC and moving to a Linux distro from windows. now that that is happening and my parts are in the mail, what does the Lemmy community recommend for my personal network data to remain as eyes free as possible from potential hostile gov & non gov entities?

For context, I have 2 years of Ubuntu experience on a non daily driver laptop, recently acquired a CCNA, and have a deeply seated hatred & paranoia of being spied on. I have many hours of security content bookmarked, but am curious to hear the Lemming communities recommendations. I am currently studying for my AWS cloud practitioner cert, then Linux+, then my CCNP.

TLDR me Lemmy 🤣

I recently entered the IT field in help desk and have gotten my CCNA. I'm currently studying for my AWS cloud practitioner cert, and was going to go for Linux+ then the CCNP after that. However I've been doing some research into ICS/SCADA systems and the area deeply interests me. Do you think that's a viable career path in lieu of the CCNP, & if so what ICS/SCADA cert or course would you recommend ??

A friends mother that I used to rent a room from asked me to help her set up an outside home security system with motion sensors so she could watch the neighborhood cats cat around in her yard. I thought I'd screenshotted a previous Lemmy thread that had a perfect recommendation, nope. Can't find it.

I recently got my CCNA and figured it would be good practice to set it up for her. she wants 4 cameras with motion sensors for each. What system would you recommend, with what software? (Not connected to the internet of course, going to set up a server for her with one of the old computers she has laying around)

Thanks Lemmy! And yes I realize I could Google but figured I'd ask y'all lmao

I saw this music video years ago where it starts with a very zoomed out drone shot of this island, and as it zooms in on the island, you see a lake, with another island in it, that has a lake on it, with another island, another lake, then ANOTHER island, eventually zooming in on this guys mansion where he is rapping the song. I have not been able to find this video for years, can any of yall lemmings assist me |: my google fu has repeatedly failed.
