If "the west" isn't voting for Bush or Reagan then they're hailing people like Obama, who destroyed Libya and brought back open air slave markets - or Clinton who destroyed Belgrade and undermined social protections for workers. To think you are somehow better because you support(ed?) Genocide Joe is just delusion.

Yanis is a smart guy but he had his shot at power and bent over for the troika, I wouldn't trust him given what he did as greek finance minister and Diem25 is his project.

"You want to be a cop/soldier/agent? What's more appealing to you, shooting brown people or being a jackboot for our capitalist overlords?"

Don't be nice to acquaintances, stinging critique will stay on their mind more than gently prodding them. If it's friends or family and you think they won't want to talk to you if you use such rhetoric then maybe you hold their hand and try and engage in a longer, more nuanced and less hostile discussion but be clear about your views and present them evidence as to what these organisations really are.

Cop? What happens to do gooder whistle blowing types? They die.

Soldiers? What the fuck were they doing protecting poppy plantations in Afghanistan?

CIA? show then the Stockwell interviews on what they did

Fbi? Murdered Fred Hampton

Palestine will achieve it's liberation with or - most likely - without the support of imperialist nations.

The IOF are not invincible, they still haven't dared to put troops into Gaza.

Should I condemn Hamas for resorting to armed resistance when peaceful means have failed? No.

Should I coddle the zionists with soothing words? No.

The people who run the USA aren't going to listen to reason, they have material interest in supporting Isn'treal and that will trump whatever idealistic appeals we may put forward.

I don't care to moderate my position unless a majority of Palestinian comrades demand we do so.

I don't give a fuck what imperialist nations or settlers want.

I am entitled to an Israeli passport, my ancestors were detained in concentration camps, forced out of their work by nazis and I am not going to contribute in any way to supporting similar crimes.

Israel must be abolished and only those that accept a Palestinian state on all Palestinian land may be allowed to stay.

You are being the white moderate that Martin Luther King spoke of.

There can be no compromise with people intent on committing genocide.

If the position is that Palestinians can fight to liberate the West Bank & Gaza but not ALL of Palestine then that would be a zionist position even if it isn't Greater Isn'treal advocacy

Anyone crying about muslim "terrorists" needs to learn about Lehi/Irgun and what they did and called themselves.

Anyone crying "it's the only democracy" needs to answer why an Israeli born in the west bank gets to vote but a Palestinian born in west bank doesn't.

Anyone opposing Palestinian liberation needs to answer if they acknowledge the genocide being perpetrated against Palestinians. Either they are ignorant or will reveal themselves as genocide supporters.

Perhaps it's because they already have these basic necessities covered by their wage and don't see how such things being free would enrich their lives. Free money is more money and they perceive that as a universal improvement.

Talking to people who struggled to give their children an education during lock downs - who can't afford even twenty dollars a month for Internet, who struggle to afford bus fares and pens and paper for their children - making such things free is very popular down here.

Ubi is still subject to the same question of who will pay for it, interesting how workers in the core perceive their tax refund as some form of "free money" and not what it really is.
