I would say Lemmy, Pixelfed, Bookwyrm and Loops are direct replacements as they’re easy to use.

Matrix and Mastodon could be made to be more straight forward to use.

Neodb could use a bit more languages.

Friendica needs an iPhone app and more instances.

Peertube needs better instance federation and video embeds.

Flohmarkt instances need more countries supported.

I really wish Americans galvanized against Trump but instead too many sat home or voted republican…
