You also have to observe the audience's class orientation. I say this, having failed and realized the futility of trying to agitate to my Petite-Bourgeois & Labor Aristocratic family. It can be possible to successfully agitate non-Proletarians, but their class interest and conditions push them towards reactionary or conservative views- such as my family.

Do you have any readings, sources, etc; about this? I cannot seem to find anything about this online, atleast not in English. Seems like something very important that would explain why there was such a conservative atitude on sexuality in the USSR.

Saw some post on Leftypol that was railing against Marxism-Leninism and 'Authoritarian Socialism', praising Libertarian Socialist movements- and included, as examples, Rojava and Zaptistas as successful movements (even saying they were much more successful than the Soviet Union, China, etc). Though I give the Zaptistas slightly more credit than the Rojava. Wonder how they feel now, lol. If I find it again, I'll screenshot it and edit it onto my post, it was bizarre.

Your average Proletarian here knows little to nothing about Socialism, Communism, Marxism, etc; though of no fault of their own. Their class consciousness, however repressed, is still exhibited; there is just no revolutionary, especially in the far-flung isolated areas, to guide them there. So you get this, lol

Several days ago, I made a household democracy joke about some issue- only for my stepfather to bring up my Soviet flag I have hanged up as a gotcha: "Not with that flag you have hanged up!" Mfs vote every four years nationally and once a year locally (?), for a pre-selected establishment politician, and they think they're free. Lol

Same thoughts, it completely [and rightfully] creates a martyr for the Venezuelan people, a victim of an even more egregious [and direct] act than any previous operation in Latin America committed by the empire and its proxies. "U.S. Law Enforcement" though?

Step-father of mine was spouting some bullshit about "how they stole basically stole our shit". He's a petite-bourgeois so, it's not surprising but there is at least three people if you include my uncles too, lol.

Step-father just parroted imperialist talking-points, and my uncle too. They're Trade Aristocracy-to-Petite Bourgeoisie though, so I should've expected it.

Honestly, not surprising to hear this, Texas is a literal shithole, physically, mentally, psychologically, etc- and I live in a particularly shit-filled area (oil baron country), so the miasma is literally in the air.

Manufacturing consent 101 here, lmao. Do you have an explanation as to why???

That's Texan heritage and 'culture' for you, lol.
