Even if it dies now, it will come back with even better hardware.

Your statement sounds like, "why did they release the iPhone, there are already PDAs"

I could imagine that games with invasive anti cheats are a reason.

As someone who played a couple, i just stopped playing them.

I'm a little sad they did this, i hoped that the pressure on the game devs would rise so they support Linux, oh well.

Isn't Vanguard requiring secure-boot and TPM enabled?

That check is actually worthless and wouldn't succeed otherwise, or are they not require it on Windows 10
