I for sure think Apple should make something for tracking health that doesn’t have a screen.

And I guess a ring would be a good fit.

But while I have no issue with taking my watch off each night to charge it… I’m not sure I’d be into a ring that I take on and off each day.

Actually a ring you have to charge just sounds… kinda dumb.

I’d way rather see apple just make a basic band with no screen for tracking and counting your rings.

The whole watch is just overkill for many of us.

Ya, I would way rather a 3x with the sensor the size of the 1x and an increase to the maximum aperture

What is it about being an audio engineer that means you require it as a 3.5mm headphone jack rather than an adapter for lightning/usb-c or set of headphones with the right port natively?

I sure do love this sub’s unwavering commitment to: ‘I have imagined it, therefore it is possible’

Unlikely as a lot of people would just opt for that and not the full watch

Just swipe between two open apps?

Over on larger devices where it belongs

Yeah. Steve famously loved making thick and bulky tech products

The delusion here is strong. Apparently the only thing holding us back from having credit card thin, flat iPhones with no notch and DSLR quality cameras is one belligerent tech executive.

And for all the money Apple now has this just isn’t something they’re interested in making

Looking at the iPhone and saying… sure would be better without the notch or camera bump.

Any idiot can do that. That wasn’t what made Steve Jobs an memorable tech figure

I literally had a phone that did video calls before the first iphone was announced iPhone.

Stop bringing up irrelevant examples of innovation.

It might be possible without the kinds of compromises we see now, one day, but not at the moment.

No one even has a million dollar proof of concept example.

Yeah. Whatever Apple and Steve want to achieve they just can. Don’t worry about physics and the fact that no one has even presented a demo for perfectly transparent high resolution display.

No one has done it well yet because it literally isn’t possible. You have to significantly compromise the display quality and the camera quality. It’s just not worth it.

No ports and Steve probably would have picked some ideological fight over something stupid and we would still have LCD displays or something.
