Bullshit, way different how.

You think Steve wouldn’t have loved faceID or the edge to edge design?

Steve loved the work Johnny did.

Under Steve perhaps Johnny never would have left and we would never have gotten this swing towards functional design that iPhone now has

All I’m seeing here is a bunch of dorks unhappy that their phone can’t lay flat on a table or that there’s a selfie camera cut out that interferes with watching YouTube videos in full screen.

I highly doubt Steve would have cared that much about either.

I’ll put forward that under Steve by now the iPhone would be port less. That seems like something he would have been right into

Steve would have gone with a before making the phones thicker year over year.

An iPhone 15 with the same camera and no bump would be thicker than the iPhone 4

I no chance

Where does the front facing camera go on an iPhone with no notch and an edge to edge display then?

[-] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

So we just never would have had an edge to edge design?

Or they would have gotten rid of the selfie camera?

[-] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

lol so no front facing camera and no changes to quality of the cameras.

As if.

If anything. The type of design trends we saw (and largely hated) under Johnny Ive would have continued for longer under Steve.

Phones would likely be thinner and smaller.

Apple managed to bring the 5x to the regular size pro after all… shocker

[-] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

So it’s an optional toggle.

Nice. I really wish Apple would give us more of those.

Have you talked to Apple support?

This doesn’t track with how my 15 Pro camera looks

[-] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Comparing it to other phones apparently.

120hz is one of those things that’s nice when you get it but the second you go back to 60hz…

It’s just like not a big deal.

[-] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

This is exactly the point. Apple wants you to feel that difference

Christ this sub sure loves to pile on about Siri rather than contribute anything useful.

Yeah Siri suuuucks, but that’s not specifically an iPhone thing. It’s an iOS/appleOS thing.

To me the main thing the iPhone lacks is what all smartphones lack, a variable iris camera lens

Video with a 1/8000 shutter in broad daylight is just beyond crazy

But seemingly not Apple or any other hardware manufacturer seems to care
