I was just saying what they used as evidence for ending the student uprising. I’m not saying it was acceptable. I’m just pointing out the acts that they used to back up their actions. All of those students weren’t even aware of this. They didn’t know what they got pulled into. It was tragic.

I mean. If labor unions killed people. Like they did during some of the coal mine riots. It gives the police and at times military freedoms to retaliate.

I grew up where the sheriff of my county killed 25 people in a single day before miner unions were allowed to exist.

Look up the Williamsport Mine Field Riots. They treated these people like animals. Just like the CCP treats their lower workers.

We technically have a space in a city by me. But it’s like 12 random desks and some video conferences rooms. No way we could actually go back to the office. That sucks for you guys tho. My old man lost his long time remote role and is back on the road again every day.

My company received an email from Microsoft this week.

“From our data you are not selling Ai features as much as your competitors and we suggest that you start changing this or you will be left behind.”

It was a completely bullshit email. But the stupids at my company are now worried that Microsoft is tracking the features we’re selling with our computers. Like if that wasn’t the most glaring red flag “we have spent way too much money on this and we need you to prove we aren’t dumbasses” I don’t know what is.

I still will not sell Ai outside of its basic uses. And I’m backed up by the old heads in my department. Ai is not for everything.
