Okay, so, sorry if this bothers you, but, it's been a long while, and I just want to know, if it's even possible to you to see this: how are you? Are things going better than when you wrote this, or are the times still feeling difficult? Either way, I just hope you're okay.

Imagine dating men…

For those who don't know, it's a browser extension that marks a link to a group or person determined by how they act towards trans people.

I personally like this concept, but after reading the reviews on its Firefox add-ons page, it let me a bit worried. I found a Reddit post with one person commenting that someone marked their friends' blog as unwelcoming due to personal beef. On that same post, people were writing about how they used it just as a "suggestion".

So, returning to the question in the title, do you personally find this extension reliable/usable? Does it could have anything that should be worked better?

This doesn't sounds true. I see lots of non-memes posts everyday, which is even more prominent than the humoristic posts.

It's still a checkerboard pattern!

I don't think I'm trash, because when the matter is being empathic towards trans homies, I can.

We are witnessing the rise of a new platform (in terms of relevance) in real time, this will probably be one of the key points in our digital decade, and it's happening right now! Have you thought about it?

80%, if I'm feeling optmistic!

What's the name of it?

People have different tastes, which can vary.

Microblogging is something more casual, and has more focus on the people sharing content. Community foruns are revolved around the content shared, so you don't really get to know people, so it has a difference on what they actually want.

Tradermark/copyright. Someone did that, but with the Koo app, since it expired.

Estou fazendo a pergunta aqui porque não tinha certeza da comunidade certa, eu gostaria de saber como faz comentários e publicações no Lemmy usando uma conta do Mastodon, tanto pelo computador quanto pelo celular.

If you are someone who posts memes ad funny stuff on Lemmy, this is a question for you, where do you get the memes? Are they reposted or original?

Some time ago, I was seeing a post online about "walking on eggshells" and how people were annoyed at this, and it made me think a little. I always try my best to be a respectful and decent person, but when the matter is trans people I do get a bit nervous (I'm an introvert, by the way. I'm already a bit nervous by default). How can I be sure that I'm not offending someone while also not looking so worried about it?

  • /br = brincando;
  • /p = piada;
  • /s = sarcástico / sarcasmo;
  • /ser (alt. "/sér") = sério;
  • /lv = leve (tradução A de lighthearted);
  • /dc = descontraído (tradução B de lighthearted);
  • /g (alt. "/gen") = genuíno;
  • /i = irônico;
  • /bc = bastante chateado;
  • /pin = piada interna;
  • /ref = referência;
  • /pr = provocando;
  • /nir = nada irritado;
  • /pch = um pouco chateado;
  • /nsdn = não se dirigindo a ninguém (aqui);
  • /nsdvc = não se dirigindo a você;
  • /m = metáfora / metaforicamente;
  • /lit = literalmente;
  • /exg - exagero / exagerando;
  • /inc - incerto;
  • /cur = curioso;

I know the title may sound a bit misleading, but this is my situation: I'm interested in using a custom launcher on my device, but the problem is that there's this option to "Pause app" that I want to use to prevent some apps from using my battery or getting my location or something, but I can't do that on custom launchers (for obvious reasons). Does this thing actually works or there isn't any actual difference?

(Fisrt time posting on Lemmy, please be patient)

I don't know if it was also like this before, but I feel like recently every social media is focused on getting comments, likes, views, people sharing your post, being popular, when the before that (late 199X- mid 201x) was more about being unique and just sharing your own creations and remixes. What makes me feel like this is that whenever I (rarely) open Twitter and go to the homepage most of the posts are something baiting the viewer into commenting or sharing. When your post doesn't has many interactions or views, you're deemed as "a failure". It seems like the (anti)social media is empty with baits and overshared memes. Long gone were the days of being original without having to directly copy someone to have validation and recognition.
