Kotatsu is outdated (telegram channel says it's no longer in development for reasons I forgot) the fork 'Futon' continues the legacy

[-] Moidialectica@hexbear.net 1 points 11 hours ago

the title is misleading as it was lead by Japanese publishers, it would've been the russian legal system had the owner not been Chinese

I'm not sure of any other country that would let it continue openly

I wonder if manga will ever become something torrented frequently enough to have a specialised 'e-book torrent reader' that has legal plausible deniability

Miru did this (despite the author being off the rails) and it worked really well

try seeing if manga you were reading were fan translated or not, fan translation groups usually have sites and if not they might have a comm that can help you find a new site

I believe this is abusable by simply endlessly writing books for niche topics you want to know about, in a way you best understand, but without the grit required of manually researching it and parsing it

Alps would fuck up any evidence easily accessible and it's very expensive to confirm if it did land there, even if it was to land in a spot that had less erosion

Maybe you could prospect out of the way of the Alps, to see if there's any strange deposits down stream or other sedimentary locations

I can only assume this was in fact done, and since there was no record of anything strange, a landslide was assumed as the closest alternative (?)

I notice the d at the middle, looks like a concept of a signature

These weren't even the first settlements but rather ones we could properly find, imagine how many others there were built with wood or in previously coastal areas, way before agriculture was a thing

is a mediocre post.

If someone said that without content, I would just assume they're a bit too into news, or are a conservative, but I can't understand comparing it to El Salvador and saying Venezuela is worse, because the economy is bad (and I assume they think this because they assume they are plundering Venezuela, but sell to who? they're sanctioned remember?)

I guess they still have a tick in their minds regarding trusting US media, they don't support the war but they're obviously not going to condemn the news that comes out, "it's just incorrect, but it's not intentional propaganda messaging", that's the only reason I can think of on why they wouldn't discard the conceptions about Venezuela, I can forgive the misconceptions of Russia, but even that he managed to bastardize that.

Putin is apparently worse than Netanyahu, this alludes my mind, and he claims it is better to throw more lives to ukraine otherwise russofication would take place (not that I would defend that even here, I am not perfectly aware of whats happening and I wouldnt put russia beneath it considering their neoliberalism) Would a court not be held if Russia was committing a genocide? Did Israel not lose the case despite having American support? How come none of this happened, even in a sham court, when it was Europe and America against a Russia they demonized for years?

This is the average American progressive, fuck me, what even can you do to make them think otherwise of what the news say? Lies being exposed week after week doesn't work, and these people obviously wouldn't read even if you made a summary of what you have read

Still considered a good news source in Wikipedia btw.

Despite the seemingly large percentage of AT LEAST progressives who view Lenin favourably, how come there isnt any popular revolutionary fiction?

I only recently had a change of mind so it really is because, (1) Venezuela has been utterly ravaged economically each sanction, (2) the internet has been astroturfed to hell and back and (3) it causes some cognitive dissonance and uncomfortable feeling when people imagine it is false, and if you're in the belly of the empire, and don't gain anything from accepting this reality, you would rather benefit from being ignorant

29

I'm largely just looking for how they worked though, but an explanatory one that does both would be nice, yes.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE

Like, having under 12k dollar wage per year, decreasing every year for 4 years, and they're denying even a talk about welfare and getting stuff from food banks to help themselves despite living 'wage to wage' by their own words with only '10$ left over'

It's been 4 years and they're just searching for affirmation that they will make it out of this 'wage to wage phase' like 4 years isn't enough, I don't understand

my points about ai get ignored despite my actual programming (also with AI) experience, do they think I'm coping with cognitive dissonance or something?

48

Something to make people think about it while they try to solve the cognitive dissonance, or to Atleast make them view it more than a simple totalitarian state where everything was bad and even the grass was white

Death to Israel, nothing short of an occupation and a purge of Zionism will be enough
