While Co-op banking institutions are better for the local community, they're also investing in options outside the local community, further depleting the resources of the 30% of customers who shop at more affordable locations

Most of those older $300-400 Android phones are ewaste for the most part after 3-5 years. Higher-end everything is more valuable and generally lasts longer. $50 work boots vs $400 work boots.

Modern $300-400 phones however I think will last 5 years easily in terms of performance depending on your needs.

The EFF is notoriously kind of an extremist organization when it comes to privacy and any sort of tracking of people; not in a bad way though I think.

The disposable masks are reusable until they're dirty, worn or damaged. They shouldn't be reused if you think you've been in a high exposure area but if you wear it while in the corner store for 2 minutes, you can safely reuse it.
