Typically I say you shouldn't insult someone for how they look as they cannot choose how they were born. She chose to look like this. And she looks like a clown.

In some ways that is the answer. Crashes keep happening because they are not being held accountable to regulators because they are not reporting these incidents and no one is exercising oversight to be sure the reporting matches reality.

I think over the years, accurate reporting by manufacturers has been done because they generally do not want to be known as that car company that killed a child and it could have been prevented with a 50 cent bolt. As a result, regulators have been less hawkish. Of course there are probably political donations in the US to help keep the wheels turning.

I don't have an answer for you, but something to consider.

Plastic surgeons go to school for many years to perfect their trade. I suspect, like most medical professionals, something like scar reduction is a specialized area of study that is not all that common.

We know that professionals are able to reduce the appearance of scars. I'd bet good money that it is not something just anyone could do successfully.

Starbase was officially formed earlier this month after Musk’s aerospace and defense contractor prevailed in a local election. It is now run by officials who are SpaceX employees and former employees.

As of early this year, the population of Starbase stood at around 500 people, with around 260 directly employed by SpaceX, the Texas Tribune reported. Most other residents of Starbase are relatives of SpaceX employees.

I've never heard anything good about company towns. Doesn't mean it can't happen. To me it just seems like another way for a company to control the workers and a quick path to indentured servitude.

It wasn't an oversight, it is a feature because manual door pulls are old fashioned and not as cool.

Electronic windows were an improvement over hand cranked, but the doors could still be opened. Though I do wonder if they have ever been the cause of a loss of life.

I agree that this design should have never passed any safety board. That the ability to open the door can be disabled or made much more difficult.

I suggest picking 1-3 topics, contacting each representative and senator one at a time, and communicating your stance for one issue. Call back and do the next issue, and so on. This process will help ensure your concerns are tallied.

Miss the days when you could buy a dumb TV and add the tech you wanted.

This motherfucker has covered up some shit in his life. This is not far from the pastor telling the pedo he smoothed things over with the victims family and if we pray about it everything will be ok.

Remember, this is the same guy who still claims he doesn't have a bank account. By my mind that means he's lied on every disclosure and is likely hiding more than just a few bank accounts and investments.

  • Most tipped workers already don't pay federal taxes.
  • Increasing the tipped minimum would do more.

Edit: really there should be no minimum lower than the hourly minimum.

“Those people . . . ” Donald said, trailing off. “The shape they’re in, all the expenses, maybe those kinds of people should just die.”

“I don’t know,” he finally said, letting out a sigh. “He doesn’t recognize you. Maybe you should just let him die and move down to Florida.”

Wait! What did he just say? That my son doesn’t recognize me? That I should just let him die?

Did he really just say that? That I should let my son die . . . so I could move down to Florida

A better question would be what are you going to do to make sure the orange Mussolini doesn't win?

Make sure you, your friends, and your family are Registered to vote.

Make sure everyone you know gets to the polls on our before election day.

Become a poll worker.

We need to make sure we vote in numbers too big to steal. In 2000 the election was handed to Bush by the Supreme Court because of one state. Looking at the last term, the court would absolutely find a way to shift the election to the con in chief if it was just one swing state with irregularities.

Talk to people about project 2025 and what it will mean. This is how the guardrails from 2017 are removed. This is how we start a Christian theocracy. If we vote blue all the way down, the Dems may be able to put stronger rails in place. If it's not Project 2025 it will be Project 2029. These conservative think tanks have been doing this since Reagan, but this is by far the scariest.

Talk to friends and family about the Biden administration wins. It's not just Biden you're voting for, it is a continuation of his administration.

Bottom line, this is likely the most important election of many of our lives. All of us must participate.

The parties used to work together, it was unthinkable to not compromise for their constituents. Today we hear politicians talk as if it would be treason to work with members from the other side.

There is no both sides in this either. One side wants to govern alone to their own interests, not those of their constituents.

While it has not yet been enforced, my employer has an MDM. Because I do not want to violate this policy or install something that gives my employer access to my device, I do not use my personal device for work and I do not have a work device other than my laptop.

This has given me some interesting perspectives.

  • I do not need to be connected at all times.
  • I can walk away.
  • They pay me for work hours, not for my free time.
  • I can easily disconnect every night and weekend, even emergencies in my area can wait.

Seems people think things are much more urgent than they should be or actually are.
