They fixed it pretty recently. setting 0% darkness in KDE plasma (as in just holding the brightness down shortcut) used to result on a black screen.

No I totally understand. This is why I use podman personally. You can use the same images as you would with docker, even its compose is pretty much exactly the same I think.

Docker automatically opens ports your containers need through iptables. Because of this, it bypasses rules set by ufw, which is great.

Podman does not do this afaik, and since it only runs rootless it's a lot less risky as well.

I'm pretty sure this is a meme based on the real report that they had 2 instances of outlook on windows and not real.

Mainly breezy weather.

I also installed the KNMI (royal Dutch meteorological institute) weather app recently, because some other popular Dutch weather services tried to sue them for making their free app too good.

This is a full native recompilation of the game for x64 processors, so you don't need an emulation layer. Should also make it easier to make custom texture packs and mods.

They really wrote a whole article about a 6 second video lmao

Nope it's just apt update & upgrade. Iirc apt tells you when the kernel was updated and needs a reboot as well.

That's awesome. Does that also mean projects like UBPorts will have an easier time porting Ubuntu touch to the fp6?

I'm all for getting off anything meta, but come on. Someone not wanting to move to a chat service that's probably less convenient for them does not make them a "so called 'friend'" lmao.

If you're actually losing friends over this, that's quite sad.

Unfortunately the internet has also changed a lot since then.

Even on just my personal site, with no real content and which no real person visits (besides people looking at my CV), I still get about 2k hits per day. When I had cloudflare in front they told me it was mostly llm scrapers, not sure how reliable that is though.

Not the most ethical, but kobo is also very easily de-drm'd with calibre.

Actually no this is not even unethical, I did actually pay for those books.
