No, you're not supposed to speak ill of the dead. Doesn't mean you have to make shit up. I didn't say a word at my father's funeral.
I spent some time on faucets until I saw all my work was worth only 70 cents.
It was worth 40+ euros some years later
Not sure but old habits die hard.
The only times something got pasted with middle click was accidental and then it doesn't even take what's in the clipboard, which is also annoying if you're in the habit of selecting text randomly when you read.
It messes with click to scroll, or just pastes things when all you want is to activate a window or something
The Bible also says God walked the earth like a regular man
Yeah and I loved it when I was young. We'd always to try not annoy others too much, not to scare animals etc. And great to meet people, the only time the Dutch are a little sociable. I don't live there now but something seems to have changed in recent years, or maybe it's because I'm not from a big city
I saw a lot of spent bullets in the streets after NYE in Berlin. Must be a German tradition
I'm not into sports neither and when my father explained why he watches sports, I suggested you might just as well watch people playing video games.
I thought that was ridiculous at the time but it actually became a thing
Not yet during the api blackout thing. I saw Lemmy posted everywhere. I kind of thought a lot more people would move over.
How do they come up with deer for Netherlands? Don't think I've even seen that being sold anywhere
Assuming price is the same, would you pick a brand known for using child labor, or a company you know nothing about? I'd avoid the Nikes unless they're the cheapest option.

I hadn't heard of Here We Go and so far it's the only Maps alternative that actually gives correct routes for public transport. I wonder why its rating on Play is so low (2.9).
As for Gmail alternatives, I wouldn't consider it a real alternative if you have to pay for it.
