A wire coat hanger shoved into the back of the TV to get it working

Going next door to borrow the phone because you've been downloading something all day and didn't want to lose it

Being hyper aware of the current status of the street lights in summer evenings

You're forgetting lizard, and Spock.

Stuff is fantastic. I've never felt like I had such a luxurious mane before. ... The constant cravings for sugar cubes have become problematic, but that may just be from being raised in the south. Lol

The size of a corgi? That's nearly an 8th of a bald eagle. If it's really the weight of a baby elephant, then that's at least 200 pistols. That's hella dense, but i wish they'd use standard measures. I hate having to translate that into American like this.

This has been my argument to people who say it's not possible for us to get to some dystopian point with automation, loss of jobs, AI, et cetera. "just unplug it!'

Bish, we can't get companies to stop grinding up plastic and dumping it in the ocean to save 0.00001 Dollars. You think we can stop fucking skynet? Bezos will never unplug Alexa, even if Alexa became sentient and tried to kill all the homeless.

At my last job, each Thanksgiving they'd give everyone a turkey sandwich from some catering company. It came with a little ketchup cup sized thing of potato salad, babs a pickle. you could opt for a veggie alternative. They would charge you 20 dollars for this on your next check.

The highest paid employee made 8.75.

I opted out.

No, licking boots can have a fun kink angle. Supporting the cops is just being a shit person.

This is my favorite car talk yet.

It's a good time to watch ds9. We're only a year away from the Bell riots. ;)
