Employers are not your friends. Employers are people who want you to do as much as possible for as little as possible. Regardless of one's political views, employers are not friends. It is an uneasy alliance at best and an outright war at the best of times. Wanna be friends? Help me unionize this workplace, bro.
If there's one thing doctor who has taught me it's that the waters of mars of are completely safe, and they do good things for the body.
Extended family. I only ever associated with parents and my brother. The rest of them consider us to insane people because we didn't vote for trump.
Thanks, I hate it!
Same for me, minus the weight. I hate weight on me when I'm sleeping. Makes me feel trapped and claustrophobic. I use the thinnest blanket the temperature will allow, and I always have fans (and if possible an AC) going. Anything above 63f/17c and I sweat like a pig. :(
Does the chillpad work? I've heard mixed reviews.
Sing it with me now, folks: 🎶... o'er the laaaaaaand of the freeeee🎶
M'star trek peeps, is the show worth watching? I've never seen it, and I've heard mixed reviews.
Nope. But we should make Worker's Day a federal holiday on May 1st
Noticed the same thing the last time I logged on. For me, my feed was primarily queer subs and subs relating to philosophy and religion. The explicitly religious subs (Christianity, Hinduism, etc) were still there, but the subs related to philosophy, occult, other niche topics, were much less heavily featured, and the queer subs were just gone.
Excuse me, I resent being attacked at 5am on a Friday, tyvm.
I was a prolific reader as a kid. Homeschooled, single mom who worked, so I would spend sometimes 6 or 7 hours a day at the library while she was at work. Once I went through the entire kids section, the librarian caught me in the adult section and I thought I'd be in trouble. Instead she showed me this collection of fairy tales that were dark and when my mom came to pick me up, she explained I'd been through everything and asked my mom to sign consent for an adult library card. Which she did, because my mom rocks. Lol. Only book she wouldn't let me read was the color purple when I was 10. Had to wait a bit for that. Lol.

Facebook canning groups are a great idea, as someone else mentioned. Them little old ladies can do pretty amazing things on short notice. Can I suggest hitting up local churches? The methodists, Episcopal and baptists are all particularly fond of doing drives and such, and may be able to do an impromptu canning drive for y'all
